Pokemonand Star Wars have grown side by side over the years. If you’re a big fan of Leia, you’re probably a huge fan of Charmander too. Below you’ll find out which Pokemon you are based on your favorite Star Wars movie.

11The Phantom Menace

Cubone

The Phantom Menace movie introduces us to Anakin for the first time. Little Anakin leaves his mother behind to become a Jedi, and, as we all know, eventually turn into a Sith Lord. This movie is one of the darker ones, with therise of the Sith Lordsbeing a main plot point.

If The Phantom Menace is your favorite movie, you’re Cubone. Cubone is a lonely Pokemon. He goes off on his own wearing the mask of his dead mother. You’re a bit isolated, and might have a dark side, but overall, you really just want to be loved.

10Attack Of The Clones

Ceruledge

Ten years after The Phantom Menace, planetary systems begin to secede from the Galactic Republic in Attack of the Clones. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Count Dooku are on opposite sides, and Obi-Wan is training Anakin to be his successor. Unfortunately, Anakin and Obi-Wan lose to Count Dooku in the largest battle Anakin has ever been a part of.

If you watch Attack of the Clones over and over again, you’re Ceruledge. You love combat, so having two swords is beneficial for you. Ceruledge is described as having the lingering resentment of a sword wielder who fell before accomplishing their goal, just as Anakin and Obi-Wan fell before accomplishing theirs.

9Revenge Of The Sith

Mimikyu

Revenge of the Sith is about betrayal, and the evil living deep inside Anakin. As the Jedi work to rescue Chancellor Palpetine, suspicions arise over his loyalties. By the end of the movie, Anakin chooses to join Palpetine on the dark side.

Mimikyu is the Pokemon that relates to this movie the most. It’s pretending to be Pikachu, similar to how Anakin is pretending to be a Jedi, but both have evil underneath. Anakin wanted to be accepted by the Jedi order, but was turned down from the role of Jedi master, which led to his evil awakening. Similarly, Mimikyu wears the Pikachu guise in the hopes of being accepted by other Pokemon and trainers.

8Solo: A Star Wars Story

Charizard

Even though Solo came out in 2018, chronologically, it falls between Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One. This movie follows the infamous Han Solo as he joins forces with intergalactic smugglers, meets his best friend Chewbacca, and finds his ship: the Millenium Falcon.

Charizard is strongand determined, but also a bit arrogant and spits in the face of Ash’s authority, just like Han Solo. Both characters choose their own path, and have the talent and arrogance to do so. These two will yield to no-one, which is the reason they are both so popular.

7Rogue One

Basculegion

Rogue One follows Galen Erso, the empire’s leading engineer for the Death Star. His daughter knows that he’s creating the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, so she works with the rebellion to steal the plans forthe Death Star.

This is one of the sadder movies, ending in the death of almost every beloved character. Therefore, if this tragic film is one of your favorites, you’re Basculegion. This Pokemon is cloaked in the souls of its comrades, which propels it forward through raging rapids, just as the deaths in Rogue One lead to the success of the rebellion in future movies.

6A New Hope

Pikachu

A New Hope was the first Star Wars film to come out. It stars our favorite twins, Luke and Leia as they come together again with Han Solo to save the galaxy and restore peace. This film is iconic, and beloved by so many Star Wars fans.

Since this movie is the face of the series, you need a Pokemon with equal infamy. Therefore, if A New Hope is your favorite film, you’re Pikachu. You crave nostalgia, and live for the originals, because they’re the best.

5Empire Strikes Back

Zoroark

In Empire Strikes Back, our heroes face Imperial forces on Hoth, an ice planet. Luke learns how to be a Jedi from Yoda, before facing the evil Darth Vader in battle in the Cloud City of Bespin.

Zoroark is the illusion fox Pokemon and it has the ability to fool you by transforming into other Pokemon. It does this to protect its path and its lair. This is similar to how the Cloud City fools the rebels into capture, but it also parallels Darth Vader’s reveal of being Luke and Leia’s father.

4Return Of The Jedi

Gyarados

Return of the Jedi is when Luke finds his footing, and he finally sees the fruits of his labor. He evolves, similar to the weak and powerless Magikarp, into a terrifying Jedi (or Gyarados). He is the hero of this film, rescuing Han Solo, and facing his father.

We see first hand the powers that he has as he defeats Jabba the Hut, and takes out the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett, who terrorized him in the previous movie. The evolution of his power is breathtaking, and that’s why if you love Return of the Jedi, you’re clearly Gyarados.

3The Force Awakens

Kubfu

The Force Awakens introduces us to Rey, a fighter who is joined by friends as she assists Princess Leia in finding Luke Skywalker. Rey is training and learning to become stronger in this film. Therefore, if this is your favorite film, you are Kubfu.

Kubfu is a Pokemon that spends all of its time training to perfect its moves. It’s fighting spirit builds from the depths of its belly, similar to how Rey develops and learns to train.

2The Last Jedi

Incineroar

In the Last Jedi, we really get to know Kylo Ren. He leads an attack against Leia and the Resistance to gain control of the galaxy. Kylo has violent tendencies and dangerous outbursts. However, under all that, Kylo has a bit of a soft side, a side that you’re able to’t help but root for.

Similarly, Incineroar has rough and aggressive behavior, and excels at violent battles. Incineroar is even known to have a selfish disposition. Underneath all that, it helps out small Pokemon, which shows that, just like Kylo Ren, it has a kinder side to it.
