You live out your life as a farmer inStardew Valley. After inheriting a farm from your late grandfather, it’s up to you to build your life and earn a living on your new piece of land. There’s also a whole town to explore called Pelican Town, and you’ll find all sorts of items around town to bring back to your farm.

You can collect a variety of items as you explore Pelican Town, and while you can keep them in your bag, you can also store them in a chest. A chest is a craftable object, and you can upgrade a chest into aBig Chest.

How To Craft A Big Chest

To craft a Big Chest, you’ll first need tofind the recipe for it.

The recipe for a Big Chest can be purchased for5,000 gold from Robin in the Carpenter’s Shopfound in the Mountains.

Once you have the recipe, you’ll be able to craft itwith a few materials:

How To Use A Big Chest

To use a Big Chest, you simply have toput it down on any free space. You can store items in it by opening it, andyou can also change its color.

A useful way to use your Big Chest is toupgrade your current chests with it. If you stand next to the chest you’d like to upgrade while holding a Big Chest in your hand, you canupgrade the chest by right-clicking on it.

The chest will be switched for the Big Chest, andall the items inside will automatically be transported into the Big Chest.
