InDragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll encounter plenty of NPCs that need your help and will reward you for your service. Making friends and allies as you work to reclaim your throne is a great boon, and some allies require additional assistance. One such ally is Sven, Queen Regent Disa’s son.

Sven is seeking allies to usurp his mother’s control over him and Vermund, and he needs your help to reach a potential contact. You’ll have to don your mask once again to deliver a letter, but which of the fine guests is the target? Thankfully, we’ll help you find them.

How To Unlock Masked Correspondence

After youfirst meet Svenon your first visit to Vernworth, he has a handful of quests you can complete.Speak to him in his chambersto learn that he requires your aid withdelivering a letter.

Sven is forbidden fromattending the masquerade partiesthrown in honor of the false Sovran, but he needs to make contact witha man named Patrick. However, he only hasa faint description of the manto give you.

This questmust be completed before completing Feast of Deception, otherwise it will be cancelled.

How To Find Lord Patrick

Don yourCourtly Breeches,Courtly TunicandEventide Maskand attend a masquerade at the palace. According to Sven, you’re looking for a man wearinga mask without a mane and a blue cape.

If you’ve lost your Courtly attire, there’sa chest in Sven’s chambersthat contains another set.

There is only one man wearinga black and gold mask that covers just his eyes. He wears avibrant blue capeand can be found at theback of the room, to the right.

Speak with him and deliver the letter. He thanks you and promises to pen a response, in private, later.

You only have one letter, so make sure todeliver it to the right man.

Be sure not to lose the letter or gift it to Patrick instead of delivering it, or you won’t be able to complete the quest.

Report Back To Sven

When youreport back to Sven, you’ll need to sneak your way back into the castleso you don’t get caught by the guards. Exploring during the day is easier, but if you’re in a hurry, you canrush through the castleright after the masquerade.

Sven is grateful for the help andrewards you with 6,000 goldandanOnyxgemstone. You’ll also receive 900XP and boost your affinity with Sven for assisting him.
