Iron is a crucial crafting resource in the game. While most materials are visible on the map, iron often doesn’t appear even when you’re in an area that contains it. This guide will provide information on how to locate iron and what to do with it in the game.
Where To Find Iron
To obtain iron, you need tolocate iron rocks. These raw materials can be found in specific locations on the game’s map,notably in Horndean and Crasmere.
Horndean is a small villagesituated on thesouth of the map. Once you reach this village,head further south towards the seashore. Here, you willspot rocks with a distinctive brown shimmer, indicating they are iron rocks rather than regular stones.
Crasmereis locatedeast of Horndean. This small settlement also has asignificant amount of iron rocks. If youtravel east from Crasmere village, you willfind deposits of iron rocksmixed with tin rocks.
While many locations offer opportunities to find iron ore deposits, the area nearHorndean is unique. The map willmark this spot with an “iron ore” label and its icon, making it easier to identify. This is not the case for other places like Crasmere, where we found iron ore deposits without any specific map markers.
