There are many different types of resources inHades 2, each with its own useful function. Some materials are used to perform Incantations to unlock new features or upgrades, while others are used to upgrade your Arcana Cards and Nocturnal Arms, increasing your chances of making it through the night.
Bronze is a resource you’ll learn of early on, but can’t be obtained until you’ve performed a few different Incantations. This can make obtaining Bronze somewhat difficult, but that’s where we come in. Below, we’ll take a look at everything you need to know about gathering Bronze.

How To Get Bronze
Bronze is found in theCity of Ephyra, on thesurface. To mine it, you’ll need to unlock theCrescent Pick, so make sure this gathering tool is selected before you begin a new run to the surface.
Before you can even make it to the surface, however, you’ll need to perform thePermeation of Witching-Wards Incantion, whichunseals the Ward blocking the surface path. You can use this Incantation by submitting oneCinder, oneShadow, and threeMolyto the cauldron in the Crossroads.
Now you can get to the surface, but you won’t survive for long there without performing a second Incantation. This time, you’ll need to learn of and then perform theUnraveling a Fateful BondIncantation, using two Lotus, two Moss, twoNightshade, and twoThalamus. This will let youbreathe on the surfacewithout taking continuous damage.
If you’re lucky and find Bronze early, youdon’t technically need the Unraveling a Fateful Bond Incantation. Only the Permeation of Witching-Wards Incantation is absolutely necessary.
Once you’re able to freely explore the surface, you may find and mine Bronze. This material has arandom chance to appearin any location, so you may have to explore around a bit before you get one.
