What Monsters DropBlack Crystal?
The most common enemy to dropBlack Crystalis a Wight. While not guaranteed to drop every time, it’s your best shot at farming the material.Wights can be found at nightin areas like the Misty Marches and east of the Checkpoint Rest Town.
One place you’re bound to find a Wight is in theWaterfall Cave east of the Borderwatch Outpost. When you head inside, rush up to the second floor to find a chest surrounded by books.Open the chestto find a pair of grimoires and summon the Wight.
Wights are powerful enemies that can shield themselves and use AoE attacks to deal massive amounts of damage.
If you go to the Waterfall Cave, be wary of a Chimera lurking inside.
When youdefeat a wight, search the ground for aBlack Crystal. They’ll only drop one at a time, so it will take a while to gather a steady supply.
Where To FindBlack Crystal
If you don’t want to get into a big fight, or you’re having trouble finding a Wight the dropsBlack Crystal, you can alwaysbuy some from a traveling merchant. The best one to buy from is Folkes, who can be foundbetween Checkpoint Rest Town and the Ancient Battleground.
We found Folkes on the cliffs near the Ancient Battleground, where the Armored Cyclops appears.
When you find him,Folkes sellsBlack Crystalfor 1,600 gold. He only has a couple on hand, so you may need towait a few days for him to restockif you buy him out.
