Whenever you want to acquire a new character inGenshin Impact, you also have to dedicate some time to farming for various materials to upgrade them. There are character upgrade materials scattered all around Teyvat, but the materials required for a certain character are usually from the region they belong.
Sethos is a four-star Bow characterusing the Electro visionin the game. His first appearance was during Cyno’s story quest released in the Version 4.6 update, and you’ll have to go around Sumeru and get specific materials if you want to upgrade him.
Sethos Ascension Materials
Here are all the materials you’ll need for themultiple ascensions that you’ll go throughwhile upgrading Sethos:

If you want to farm Trishiraite, you’ll have to go through the northern parts of theSumeru Desert including Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhkert. You’ll find various red ore deposits in these areas giving you this item. As for the mob drops, you can farm them by defeating various Eremite enemies spread all across the desert.
Cloudseam Scale can be acquired from theSolitary Suanni boss in the Chenyu Vale part of Liyue, but you’ll have to spend Resin to claim rewards here. Finally, the Vajrada crystals can be acquired fromvarious bosses who have a chance of dropping themor by taking part in some limited-time events.
Unfortunately, the Solitary Suanni boss required for Sethos doesn’t drop the Vajrada crystal, butyou can convert them at the alchemy table.

Once you ascend Sethos a certain amount of times, you canalso upgrade his three active talents, requiring the following materials for each one:

You’ll need thrice the materials mentioned above if you want to upgrade all three active talents for Sethos, and aCrown of Insights is also required for the level ten upgrade.
Daka’s Bell is a weekly boss material that can be farmed by defeating the Scaramouche weekly boss. You can get a maximum of two of these every week, three if you get lucky.
