Little Kitty, Big Cityis an adorable adventure game about a cat, Little Kitty,trying to find his way back up to the apartment he lives inwith his human. As Kitty, you’ll navigate the big city, collecting Shinies, cute cat hats, and pouncing on birds for feathers.
You’ll also meet other animals who will give you quests for your To-Do list orCat-chievement List. Completing these quests will grant you various rewards to help you on your journey. One such Cat-chievement is called Quack Troops, which has you searching the city for four little ducklings so they don’t miss show and tell with their dad.
How To Start The Quack Troops Quest
Quack Troops is aCat-chievement given to you by Duck. Once you’ve received your first fish from the crow for climbing,climb the vines directly behind the bikethe crow was perched on. Then, walk down the alley till you see Duck standing at the entrance to the shrine.
Speak to him, and he’ll tell you a long story abouthis missing ducklingsand ask you to find them and bring them home for show and tell. He alsogives you a mapthat shows you the ducklings' favorite places to hang out.
This map also shows you the best locations to find more fish, which will helpincrease your climbing energy!
Where To Find The First Duckling
To find the first duckling, head back in the direction you came, climb the vine, then take a right andgo past the dog.
To get past the dog initially,you will need the Shiba Hat.
Follow the sidewalk around the corner to the right, then go inside the grocery store. As soon as you enter, you’ll find theduckling to the right, playing in a puddle of water on the floor.
However, the duckling is having too much fun in the water! To get the little guy to follow you, you’ll need tofind a way to remove the puddle of waterwithout getting wet (cause cats don’t like water).
In the back corner of the store, there’s a fan that you candrag over to the puddle.This will knock the duckling out of the puddle and he’ll now follow you!
While you’re in the grocery store,there is a fish you’re able to eatto increase your climbing energy. Also, if you jump on top of the shelves you can go into the air duct, where you’ll find a bunch of Shinies. From the air duct there is also an opening to the store’s bathroom.Inside you’ll find the Onigiri Hat.
Where To Find The Second Duckling
The second duckling is inside an arcade. To get there, head back towards Duck and turn left down the street leading straight away from the shrine. On theright side of the street is the arcade. The duckling is dancing on a stool, watching the images of a fighting game loop on the screen. He’s even wearing a band around his head like one of the video game characters.
When you talk to him, he sayshe’ll only come when the screen stops displaying things. To get him to follow you, you’ll need tomake the screen go dark.
To the left of the machine is a bunch ofwires that power the machines. In front of the wires is a bucket collecting a leak from the water pipes at the top of the room. What you need to do isflood the wireswith water from the pipes.
Jump onto the game machineson your left, and continue left till you find the switch for the pipes, which is on the other side of the wall. It can be a bit tricky going around that wall, but we found if you just walk slowly anddo a tiny jump, you should make it.
Then,pull the leverand water will burst from the leak above the wires, the machine will shut off, and the duckling will follow you.
Where To Find The Third Duckling
This duckling you’ll find in a bit of a predicament above theold lady’s produce shop. To get to him, go through the back room of the produce shop to thealley out back. Use the crates and air conditioning units toclimb all the way to the topof the building where you’ll find the duckling stuck in an air conditioner fan’s updraft.
On the roof, there’s a crate filled with little red boxes.Drag the crateover top of the vent and the little duckling will be free to follow you!
Where To Find The Fourth Duckling
The fourth and final duckling istrapped inside one of the dryersin a laundromat. You’ll find the laundromat right next to the old lady’s produce shop. However, the door isn’t open, so how do you get inside to rescue the duckling?
Go into the alley to the right of the laundromat,then climb up the vinesto the top of the air conditioning unit.You’ll need at least two fishby now to have enough energy to climb. Next, go inside the laundromat through the open window, then jump down to the floor.
Talk to the duckling, and he informs you that he isn’t trapped at all! He’s taking a ride in the dryer, and his ride isn’t done yet. He won’t join you until it stops, soyou’ll need to figure out how to get the door open.you may do this by shutting off the power to the machines.
To turn off the machines, you’ll need topress the red button on the left sideof the room. You find out from the orange cat in the laundromat that to push the button,you just need to run full speed at itand your head will bump into it. (If you’ve been running around the city at all, you may have experienced this afew times already.)
Once you successfully hit the button, the duckling will be freed from the machine!
With the four ducklings trailing behind you, head back to the shrine andtalk to their father. They will all thank you for your help, and as a reward you’ll receive aDuck Hat, so you can always be a part of the Duck family!
