As more areas get released toHonkai: Star Rail, developers have consistently been trying out new mechanics to make exploration a little more immersive and difficult. One of the perfect examples of this is the Soulglad Scorchsand Audition Venue area, which is divided into various parts.
Half of this area can be unlocked by going through the main story, while the other half requires you to do the Scorchsand Vacation quest. Once everything is open, here’s how you can find all the chests in the area.
Starting Area Chest Locations
The main attraction of Soulglad Scorchsand Audition Venue is the choice-based locations after you use the first shuttle, which also means that youwon’t find a lot of chests in the starting areawhere you finish the general formalities.
you’re able to only find two regular chests here. The first one is on the left side of the main room, whilethe second one is tucked on the right sideas soon as you enter the shuttle area.
Action Challenge Chest Locations
Action Challenge is thechoice on the right side of the first part, and here are all the chests in it:

The first chest can be found by reaching the Space Anchor in this area and then heading to the right wall. It’sbehind a shiny board near the main stage.

To get the second chest, keep heading up until you find the path dividing into two.Take the left pathand you’ll find it.

This is the warp trotter of Soulglad Scorchsand Audition Venue, and you may find it bytaking the Mr. Soda puzzlein the Acting Challenge area. It’ll spawn beside the second chest once you do.

Head back down and take the path on the right this time. You’ll find this chesttucked on the right corner of the stairs.

The final chest in this area can befound on the right sideas you embark on the path to the shuttle.
Acting Challenge Chest Locations
Embark on the left area of the first part to reach the Acting Challenge and get these chests:
The first chest can be found just alittle to the north of the Space Anchorin this area.
Head up the first set of stairs and you’ll find thesecond chest tucked behind the bencheson the left.
Once again, get to the location where the paths get divided andtake the right oneto find this chest just above the stairs.
This chest can befound on the leftas you head on the path to the shuttle.

Finally, these are thetwo Lordly Trashcans of Soulglad Scorchsand Audition Venuethat willonly appear after taking the Mr. Soda puzzlein Action Challenge.
Gunfire Trial Chest Locations
The Gunfire Trial area is filled with Hanu’s Adventures, and you can find quite a few chests here:
This is the only chest you’ll get on the first floor of this area, which is the one with the Space Anchor. Convert into Hanu anduse the nearby blue portal to get to the top of a shelffor this chest.
It’s recommended to call the elevator on this floor before moving on, butuse the stairs to go to the second floor insteadso that the elevator stays here.
As soon as you head upstairs, you’re able to find this chestbehind the door of the room in front.
This is the highest tier chest that automatically unlocks after you finish the Hanu’s Adventure puzzlein this area for the main quest or the Scorchland Vacation quest.
After taking the third chest, you’ll find a TV to transform back into your character on the top right path on this map.Use it and get past the elevator(it should’ve filled the gap if you left it on the first floor).
This will take you to the hidden room with this chest. In this room, you can also use thesmall vent as Hanu to get to a Dream Jigsaw puzzle, though the chests from this don’t count for the map exploration.
This chest can be found bygoing to the top of the pathwaywhere you found the TV to transform yourself for chest four.

Head to the elevator and select the B1 floor for this chest. Head into the main area andyou’ll find it tucked in the left corner.

For this chest, you’ll have to turn into Hanu first and break the firecrackers near the wall to open it. Next,turn back into your characterand you’ll be able to claim it.

you may find this Hanu chest afterdefeating all the enemiesin the area.

For the last chest of this area, you’ll have to take theMr. Soda puzzle in the Time Trial sectionand get back here. You’ll find a new floor in the elevator.
Time Trial Chest Locations
The second choice of the second tunnelleads you to the Clockie area, and here are all the chests you can find on it:
You can easily find the first chest in alittle secluded area to the right of the Space Anchorhere.
Head to the main Clockie area andyou’ll find this chest on the bottom left sideof this part.
Take the path on the right of Clockie’s statue and you’ll find ittucked right under the stairs.
Use the purple bird mechanism near chest three and you’llfind it in a secluded part to the leftof the orange bird. Interact with the orange bird after this to move forward.
Make sure youmove the module backbefore interacting with the purple bird here.
Interact with the second purple bird beside the one you interacted with in chest four andthen the orange bird on the way. Your path to this chest will open.
Interact with another orange and then the purple bird to reach the mainland again. This chestcan be found on the right sidein the next area.
Keep going up to the northern part and you’llfind this chest near the Space Anchor.
The door leading to this chest will initially be closed and you’ll have to getthe Mr. Soda puzzle in Gunfire Trialto open it.
Arena I And II Chest Locations
If you’ve followed the guide until this part, you’ll already have 30 out of the 32 chests in Soulglad Scorchsand Audition Venue. Thefinal two chests are found in the two arenas, which are also the choices you’ll have for the second last shuttle.
The map for both these arenas is the same, but you’ll find the chest on theleft in the first one and on the right in the second oneas soon as you teleport to them.
