How To Catch A Channel Catfish
An Unforgettable Fish Dish is a Bulletin Board quest available after completing the first fishing quest called Wife’s Water Tank.It’s part of the fishing questline, where you’re tasked withcatching a Channel Catfish.
The quest recommendsusing Wriggling Insects as baitto improve your chances of catching the Channel Catfish,which you canpurchase from Clyde at the oasis in the Great Desert.
There are two spots where you can find the Channel Catfish.The first is at the end of the road connecting Xion and The Wasteland, while the second is to thesoutheast of the Wasteland. Both spots are fishing areas where you have a chance to catch the fish required for the quest.
Keep in mind,there’s no guarantee you’ll catch the Channel Catfish on your first try;it might take several attempts, so make sure you have enough bait.
We’ve had better luck finding the Channel Catfish at the first spot mentioned, located at the end of the road connecting Xion and the Wasteland.
While Wriggling Insects are recommended, we’ve also managed to catch them using Fish Slices as bait. If you are struggling, try switching to the Bait we used, and hopefully, you will have better luck.
