How To Adopt A Cat Or Dog

Your first step in your pet-owner journey is to visit Gabriel’s ranch store topurchase a bed, food bowl, and water bowl. You’ll also want tobuy food for your pet! Set these up on your farm beforetaking the bus to Higashi.

In Higashi, make your way tothe pet rescue in the north west cornerof the city. Here, you can interact with the register to see what pets are available. There are severalvarieties of dogs and catsto choose from, each with their ownpersonality and temperament.

If you go through either door behind the counter, you’re able to see the pets before you adopt them!

The petadoption fee is 50 cupules, so ensure you have enough before taking the long trip. You’ll need toconfirm which pet bed your new furry friend will be assigned to, then confirm your adoption.

Your new friend willarrive the following morning, ready to work and keep you company. They’ll regularlyneed to eat and drink, like you, so make sure that their bowls are full. You canfill the water bowl using the hose, and you’ll have to buy more food from Gabriel when you run low.

Gabe also sells toys for your pet to play with, as well as a leash so you can take your new pet for a walk around SunnySide. Make sure youpet your cat or dog dailyto increase your relationship with them.

The good news is that you canadopt as many pets as your heart desires, so long as you have the space and the funds (and so long as your computer can handle it), so there’s no need to worry about missing out.

If you’re tired of your crops and livestock being bothered by raccoons and foxes, try adopting a cat or dog to keep them at bay!
