The ocean ofSea of Thieveshas gotten a lot bigger with the addition of new pirates, pets, and more with each new season. Owls have finally made it to Sea of Thieves, and they can be purchased similarly to other animals that join you on your adventures.
Those eager to unlock the new Owl pet must head over to The Pirate’s Emporium, an exclusive shop that uses Ancient Coins to unlock some of the more coveted items inside Sea of Thieves. Thankfully, like the other pets, the Owls should stick around for long enough for you to grab your favorite.

How To Get An Owl Pet
As with other pets, you’ll need tovisit The Pirate’s Emporiumif you want to purchase an Owl. They have a dedicated section on the shop’s main page, meaning you can look at all the variations byclicking on the banner.
Once the Owls leave the main page of The Pirate’s Emporium, you’ll be able to find them under the ‘Pets’ category at the top of the screen.

You can find The Pirate’s Emporium at major outposts or on the main login screen when you first sign in to Sea of Thieves.
There are five different color variations of Owls, each costing the samebase price of 499 Ancient Coins.
Black Feathers, Yellow Beak, and Talons
Great Grey Owl
Dark Grey Feathers, Yellow Beak, and Talons
To get the Ancient Coins required for the Owl pets, you’ll need topurchase one of the currency bundlesthat have at least 500 Ancient Coins.
You can alsoattempt to grind Ancient Coinsin the game through very tough enemies and the season pass, but that could take days to weeks.
There are five different currency bundles that you can purchase, with theupper four being enoughfor the Owl.
