You explore a vast world of various puzzles and mysteries inAnimal Well. This metroidvania adventure puts you in a dark yet beautiful dimension full of vibrant creatures and sights. As you explore different parts of the map, you’ll find unreachable areas that will require you to equip yourself with useful tools.

There are various key items that can be found and used as tools to solve puzzles and reach different areas. You may need to complete a series of puzzles in order to unlock these key items. This is the case with the B. Ball, and you’ll need to solve the Kangaroo puzzle in order to get it.

How To Get The B. Ball

The location of the B. Ball ispast the K medal barrier in the northwest corner of the map. You’ll need to firstsolve theKangaroo puzzleto get through it.

Solving the Kangaroo puzzle requires you toplace three K shards into the K medal slotin the northwest.

Once you’ve successfully cleared the Kangaroo puzzle, the barrier leading to the B. ball should open.Hop through the new passage, and you’ll find some wooden platforms leading to a lower level.

Once you get to the bottom, you’ll find a chest sitting on the ground.Open the chest to get the B. Ball.

How To Use The B. Ball

When you have the B. Ball, you canequip it by scrolling through your tools with ‘R1’ or ‘L1’. You can alsoopen up your inventory menu and select itthere.

Use the B. Ball bypointing in the direction that you want to throw it in, thenpress your tool key. It will start bouncing around in all sorts of directions.

The B. Ball will not return to your inventory by pressing the tool key again. It can only return to you if itexits the current area you’re in or if you pick it up again.

The B. Ball can be used todestroy the various breakable spikes around the map. That being said, it bounces around rather violently, making it difficult to control.The Top,Disc, andYoyowork better for breaking these spikes.

The primary use of the B. Ball is forbreaking specific bricks. The brick can be found in the area above the B. Ball chest location.Hop up to the wooden platforms, and the wall to the left will have two visible bricks in it.

You canuse the B. Ball to break these, but these bricks will spawn back every time you leave the location, or if the B. Ball falls into a different area. Tostop the bricks from coming back, you’ll need tocatch the B. Ballin your hand.

You don’t have to be exactly on the B. Ball to catch it. It’s enough tobe close to it to pick it up.

You can alsouse the B. Ball to distract the roaming dogsin the dog area. Just throw the ball, and the dogs will chase it while it’s bouncing around. You canrun past the dogs while they’re distracted.

While you can also use your Disc to distract the dogs,this can only catch their attention for a short timeif they are close enough to catch it. Once they’re done chewing on the Disc,they’ll turn their attention back to you.

The B. Ball will be able to distract the dogs while it’s bouncing around, andthe dogs won’t be able to catch it. Justensure that the ball is within viewand that itdoesn’t bounce into a different area.

A B. Ball also acts as a weight once it stops bouncing around. you’re able to get it to hold a button down, if you can manage tohave it land on the button after it stops bouncing.

This is difficult to do, but ifyou’re having trouble with timed puzzles requiring weightson two buttons, this is a viable solution.

What Puzzles Require The B. Ball?

The B. Ball is not very useful except for three secret eggs. To get these, you’ll need toopen up a specific area that can only be accessed using the B. Ball.

The area you’ll need to get to is the exact spot where the special B. Ball bricks can be found. Above the B. Ball chest’s location,there is a secret cave hidden behind a bunch of bricks.

Hop up to where the wooden platforms areuntil you make it to the area right before the K medal room. There’s a red lantern hanging from the ceiling in the correct location.

The hidden cave is behind the wall on your left. There are two bricks you can break with your B. Ball there. To get through,stand on the longer wooden platform on the right. Then,throw your B. Ball to the upper rightso that it bounces off the wall onto the first brick. If you get the angle right, you should be able to catch it easily afterward.

Then,throw the B. Ball to the same spot. It should hit the second brick. ensure tocatch the ball againto prevent the bricks from spawning back in.Use yourBubble Wandto get into the crevicethe bricks left behind.
