Magic: The Gathering - Assassin’s Creed Starter Kit
What To Buy For Magic: The Gathering’s Universes Beyond: Assassin’s Creed
The Universes Beyond: Assassin’s Creed set is a special set with a special type of Booster pack. Called Beyond Boosters, this set has a much smaller card count compared to other sets. There is only a total of 120 cards in the set, including the full-art basic lands, with another 25 cards that are only found in the Starter Kit. Interestingly, there are no commons in the set, making the lowest rarity being an uncommon.
Since this is a specialized set, there are fewer products available, and a higher emphasis on Collector Boosters thanks to all the different styles of cards you can open.

Magic: The Gathering - Assassin’s Creed Beyond Booster Box
Enough packs to Leap of Faith into
Beyond Boosters are a new type of pack you can only get in Universes Beyond products. These packs each tell a story, with the Assassin’s Creed ones depicting the various assassins you play as from across all eras of history.

Beyond boosters are a new type of pack that makes their debut with the Universes Beyond: Assassin’s Creed set. These packs are non-draftable and will not be coming to Magic: The Gathering Arena, so getting physical packs is the only way to go.
The concept being them is that when you open a Beyond Booster, you’reexperiencing a story through the cards you open. These packs are not exclusive to Assassin’s Creed, as other future sets will likely follow a similar design, but work particularly well for the series.

You might have noticed that there are only seven cards in this pack, eight if you include the token, and that’s because they are intentionally designed to be smaller, thus making them undraftable.

These packs are slightly larger than the Beyond Boosters, coming with 10 cards in them, and are the only place you may find extended art, foil etched and textured foils, and the highly illusive serialized cards from the set.
The serialized cards in this set are all based on historical characters from the games, coming from every major era the games portray. Each of these cards come printed in the language that the character spoke, so for Cleopatra, Exiled Pharaoh, you get all the text in Greek, with a special cartouche in the flavor text too.
If you’re on the hunt for one of these special cards, you need to be opening Collector Boosters, which have:
