Disney’s Lorcanais still going strong with its fourth set, Ursula’s Return. With a name like that, you can expect plenty of cards from The Little Mermaid, including locations, new storyborn and dreamborn characters, and some very cool actions and songs to play.
Ravensburger is changing up the products again with this release, replacing the Gift Set you might remember from the original two sets with a new product called the Illumineer’s Quest. Let’s dive into everything Ursula’s Return has to offer and see what is the best bang for your buck.

24 Packs means 24 chances to open the rare, legendary, or enchanted card you have been hunting. The price point is higher than any other product released with Ursula’s Return, but when you break it down, you get the most packs for your money with it.
The best way to open as many packs as possible is to snag one of the Booster Pack Displays. These boxes come with 24 packs, with each pack having 12 cards inside, giving you a total of 288 cards with a healthy chunk of each rarity once you’ve cracked the whole box.
A booster box might seem a bit steep in price but when you break it down, it’s your best way to get the most amount of packs at a good price. If you want to ensure you’re getting the most out of your box, you can multiply the cost of a single pack by 24, seeing as you get 24 packs in a box, and compare the prices. More often than not the booster box will be cheaper by a good twenty or thirty bucks, making it the better pick if you’re looking to open lots of packs.
Not to mention, if you’re a streamer just starting out and want to record some pack-opening videos, you will want as many packs as you may get. There’s also the fact that booster boxesgive you the best odds of finding an Enchanted card, the special and rare alternate art version of cards. The chances of opening one of these cards are very low, but it’s not zero.

One pack might not seem like much, but can be a nice treat for yourself or even a little bonus gift for the Lorcana fan in your life. You get 12 cards with this pack, one being a guaranteed foil, so there’s always a chance of getting something good.
If 24 packs are a bit more than what you’re looking for, you can always pick up a single pack instead. An individual pack of Ursula’s Return still comes with a guaranteed foil card of any rarity, and 11 other cards that you can add to your collection or give a deck of yours a boost.

Everything a Lorcana fan could want
Perfect for experienced Lorcana players and newcomers alike, the Illumineer’s Trove is a collection of eight packs, a storage box, and tons of accessories that all players can appreciate. Each Lorcana Illumineer’s Trove is adorned with artwork from the specific set, with Ursula’s Return featuring art of Ursula, Beast, and more.
One of the coolest products Ravensburger releases with every set is the Illumineer’s Trove. This bundle is a limited edition item most of the time, and when they sell out from retailers there’s very little chance of finding one again since Ravensburger doesn’t reprint them and rarely releases more once supplies get low.
The Illumineer’s Trove is a great mid-way product between picking up a single pack and dishing out the money for a whole box. You get eight packs in the Trove, which is a good amount for the price, but then you get all sorts of other accessories like dice and a lore counter that you can’t find elsewhere. A new game mode to your favorite TCG
More of an independent board game than a dedicated Lorcana bundle, the Illumineer’s Quest lets you use either preconstructed decks or your own brews to go up against Ursula and her armies in a custom game mode. There’s even a special victory card you can open when you defeat her.
Replacing the Gift Set from the previous expansion is the Illumineer’s Quest, a new product that gives players a whole new way to play Lorcana games. The Illumineer’s Quest bundle doesn’t come with any packs, but instead, you get two preconstructed decks thatyou can use to take down Ursulaand her minions in a custom game mode, though you can use your regular Lorcana decks too so you’re not limited to just using the precon decks. The Illumineer’s Quest bundle plays more like a board game you can use your Lorcana cards with.
The Illumineer’s Quest bundle can be played with up to four players and has a sliding difficulty scale, letting you ramp up the strength of Ursula to match the power of the decks you use. Even if you don’t use the two decks that come with the bundle, they do have some high-powered cards in them, includingYen Sid, Powerful Sorcerer, and Mulan, Elite Archer.

Heroes come together in one deck
A rather unique preconstructed Disney Lorcana deck, this Sapphire and Steel deck takes some of the best heroes from across tons of Disney films and combines them in one deck. There are plenty of storyborn and dreamborn cards here, most of which get a boost from other Hero cards.
Whether you’re looking to dive into Lorcana or like collecting everything the game has to offer, Disney Lorcana’s preconstructed decks are a great way to get started with the game. Every set comes with two of these decks, which are designed to give players a balanced experience without being too strong.
The Amber & Amethyst is based on the hit musical Encanto, with the two big cards from the set being Mirabel Madrigal, Gift of the Family, and Bruno Madrigal, Out of the Shadows. Since this deck is based on the Encanto film, it has all sorts of characters from the movie including Felix, Camilo, Julieta, Dolores, and Isabela. Mirabel will give your other Madrigal characters a lore boost when they quest, making her a key component of the deck.
The other Starter deck is the Sapphire & Steel preconstructed deck, which is themed around gathering all the greatest heroes from Disney’s films and uniting them under one banner. The two key cards in the deck are Anna, True-Hearted, and Hercules, Beloved Hero. Much like Maribel in the Amber & Amethyst deck, Anna gives your other Hero characters a boost in lore when they quest, which can quickly add up to a victory with enough Heroes out.
