If you’re struggling to find all theGolden WalnutsonStardew Valley’sGinger Island, don’t worry. You’re not alone. It is no secret that finding Ginger Island’s Golden Walnuts is a bit of a wild goose chase, and Concerned Ape himself recognized this dilemma when he added the Golden Joja Parrot in Stardew’s 1.6 update.

While you have always been able to ask Leo’s parrot for hints as to where the remaining Golden Walnuts are scattered around Ginger Island, having a one-sentence hint isn’t the most helpful. This is where the Golden Joja Parrot comes in. You can hire the Golden Joja Parrot to find the walnuts for you.

Is Using The Golden Joja Parrot Worth It?

Because the Golden Joja Parrot asks for such a large sum of money, we don’t recommend using its services unless you haveno interest in the Golden Walnut hunt, or youcannot possibly find themall on your own.

To unlock every singleparrot-powered upgradeon Ginger Island, you only need116 Golden Walnuts, and tounlock Qi’s Walnut Room, you only need100 Golden Walnuts. That makes theremaining 14 walnutsout of the full 130mostly unnecessary. So, paying for the Golden Joja Parrot’s services would meanlosing at least 140,000g on walnutsyou don’t strictly need.

If you take the last 14 walnuts into consideration, it would bemore resource-efficientfor you to find the Golden Walnutson your own. Ultimately, the choice is yours, but the math is not in your favor.
