Summary

There are a handful of places you can go to pick up officially licensed video game merch, but not many of those places tend to generate as much buzz as Uniqlo. Earlier this year,Uniqlo confirmed its first crossover with Final Fantasyand that its collection of six t-shirts would be here before Dawntrail’s launch. Keeping to that promise, we now know the collection of seven t-shirts, which includes designs inspired byFinal Fantasy 14, will be available to buythrough Uniqlo’s US sitefrom June 24.

If you’re reading this from Japan, you can shop Uniqlo’s Final Fantasy collection starting today. Those of us Stateside will need to wait an additional week, but at least we know when the t-shirts will finally be here. While Cloud and the rest of the gang fromFinal Fantasy 7are notable by their absence, the collection does manage to cover a lot of Final Fantasy bases in just seven designs.

Final Fantasy Cat, Moogle, And Chocobo T-Shirt

The first of the Final Fantasy 14 t-shirts is my favorite of the entire collection. A clean and simple design that features a Chocobo, a Moogle, and a fat cat either floating out of or falling onto a single pocket on the t-shirt’s chest. The other Final Fantasy 14 design features the game’s Warrior of Light. Either would make the perfect uniform for venturing into Dawntrailwhen the highly-anticipated expansion drops on July 2.

Uniqlo’s Final Fantasy T-Shirts Come To The US On June 24

Final Fantasy Cat, Moogle, And Chocobo T-Shirt

Inspired by Final Fantasy 14, this t-shirt with a cartoon-style Chocobo, Moogle, and cat falling into the chest pocket is a part of a Uniqlo collection which includes t-shirts inspired by games from throughout the Final Fantasy series.

Also represented in Uniqlo’s Final Fantasy collection are the Pixel Remasters andFinal Fantasy 16. Your wolf companion Torgal makes an appearance on one of the Final Fantasy 16 t-shirts, the sidekick looking up at a moon, half of which has morphed into a quote from the latest truly new installment in the Final Fantasy series. Since the Pixel Remasters are pulling from six games, the retro Final Fantasy titles have the most designs in the collection to choose from - three t-shirts versus two from Final Fantasys 14 and 16.

Final Fantasy 16 Howling Torgal T-Shirt

Final Fantasy 16 Howling Torgal T-Shirt

A part of Uniqlo’s wider Final Fantasy collection, this t-shirt features a tiny version of Clive’s lovable sidekick in Final Fantasy 16, Torgal. The loyal wolf is howling at a moon which features a message from the game.

All seven t-shirts will be available to buy through the US Uniqlo store from June 24, and all will be $24.90 each. The Final Fantasy collection joinsthe site’s Tears of the KingdomandMetal Gear Solid collections. The latter was particularly popular when the range was brought out of retirement earlier this year and even went on sale, their prices cut to less than $10 eachfor a limited time.
