How To Start The Xtreme Carnival Ensemble Event

Xtreme Carnival Ensemble Event Songs
There areseven songs in all, each one tied to a character and one of the seven elements used in the game. They are:

Every song hasfour difficulties.Normal, Hard, and Pro are unlocked by default and The One and Oni King isunlocked after reaching Dulcem on Prodifficulty. The firstthree difficulties have associated rewards. These include:
Everysong is themed to its characterand theinstrument and theme vary. All icons are based on the character’s element by default, and the instruments match the song’s sound.You can change thesein the settings if you wish.
Which instrument and theme are used does not make a difference to the difficulty of the song.
How To Play Xtreme Carnival Ensemble
This is a simple rhythm game. You havesix different keys/buttons corresponding to the six lines of noteson the screen. Eachnote takes the form of an icon, and you need topress the correct button when the note hits the circlealong the line at the bottom of the screen.
In the image above,the note has just hit the circleand this position is consideredperfect, as you can see from the notification above.
If theicon is elongated,as shown in the image above, you need topress and hold the corresponding button.A second slightly translucent image of the icon will appear at the end of the note.Let go when this second icon hits the bottom line.

Tips For Playing Xtreme Carnival Ensemble
The game is relatively easy to get the hang of but there are a few things you’re able to do if you are finding it difficult, especially on harder levels.
Change The Settings
The game has settings which allow you to do the following:
If you change the note speed you’ll still have the same number of notes in the same order and at the same time apart. They will just fall faster or slower, and as a result you’ll end up with either more or fewer on screen at once.
You can also change the theme and instrument but these don’t make any difference game play wise.
Play With The Beat Map
Thebeat map editoris a separate feature anddoesn’t give you rewards or points.However, it doeshelp you understand the rhythm of the musicwithout distractions.
It shows the interface, butinstead of notes falling down, you see a red linewhich hits the bottom on beats in the music, where it recommends notes are added. You can add notes wherever you like to create your own composition, butjust listening to the musicand watching the lines willhelp you understand the kind of beats to listen out for.
A red line means theexisting compositions likely have notes here,so knowing what beats will have notes canhelp you get to grips with the timingof each piece.
Try All The Songs
If you find a song difficult, will likelydepend on your experience with rhythm gamesand your innatemusical sense and timing.However, thetone of the song also affects difficultyfor many people.
All the music is varied here, withdifferent instruments, tones and beats. Play through them all andsee which you prefer.Once you’ve found it practice that one to get a wider grasp of the game before moving on to become a musical master.
