Stellar Bladeis Sony’s newest exclusive game. It follows Eve’s quest to save the world from the Naytiba. But it’s not just about that simple premise; there’s much more to it. Eve will uncover secrets behind the Naytiba with the help of her companions as they explore various regions and battles enemies along the way.
With each new game release, we aim to provide you with the best tips and tricks to kickstart your journey, and this guide serves as your stellar beginner’s companion, offering assistance throughout your adventure.

Turn On Auto Loot Items
Let’s start with something simple, a specific setting that can make your journey smoother—not in terms of fighting Naytiba, but in gathering items and loot from the open world and enemies.Open your settingsandgo to Gameplay. Look for an option highlighted in blue called"Auto Loot Items" and turn it on.
This setting does exactly what it says:it automatically collects any nearby items you pass by, so you don’t have to constantly stop to pick things up. While you might not think it’s a big deal, trust us, we’ve played the entire game with auto loot on, and we never missed an item or loot from enemies. There’s a ton of loot you’ll encounter, from crates and enemies alike.

Scan Every Corner, And Then Scan Again
Eve is accompanied by a dronethat proves incredibly useful in many ways, but its standout feature isits ability to scan a wide area from your current position, revealing all points of interestaround Eve, this includes crates, humans, corpses to scan, doors, and even enemies. Therefore,it’s a good habit to get into, scanning areas you’re in to understand your surroundings better.
Scanning does have a cooldown, but it’s not too long, allowing you to use it regularly.

Plus, you’re able to later upgrade your droneto reduce the cooldown and prolong the time items highlighted by the scan remain visible.
One scan might not suffice, as there’s a high chance there are multiple items to gather, crates to loot, or enemies to defeat. So,be sure to perform a second scan check to ensure you’ve gathered everything around you, just in case. You wouldn’t want to miss anything since there’s a plethora of gear, items, and materials scattered throughout the open world.

Scan Human Corpses For Passcodes
Now, we’ve highlighted the importance of scanning, butlet’s emphasize scanning any human corpse you come across. Not only does it reward you with SP (skill points), butsome of them might also hold a codefor a specific door or crate that requires a code to unlock.
So try not to miss any human corpses whenthey are highlighted in orangeduring the scan. These encounters can hold valuable rewards and vital information to aid you on your journey.

Learn To Parry, You Will Need It
Stellar Blade incorporates elements of soulslike combat with its own unique twist. Instead of just relying on basic light and heavy attacks, you have the ability toexecute various combosandspecial skillsthat deal damage to enemies. However, combat can be challenging as enemies hit hard.
In this game, we’ve found thatmastering parrying from the beginning is more efficient than relying solely on dodging. Not only can you unlock various combos after successfully parrying, but it’s also the most effective method forbreaking down enemy stances and executing a devastating Retribution attack that inflicts heavy damage.

You can track your progress towards performing Retribution byobserving the yellow dots under the enemy’s HP, indicating how many successful parries you need to execute before unleashing the devastating attack.
Train Skills Before Unlocking Them
Eve has multiple skill trees filled with various skills to unlock. These skills range from offensive abilities to combos and even enhancements for mobility, dodging, and parrying. Each skill serves a purpose, butthere’s a feature in the game that allows you to train skills while at camp before acquiring them.
While training a skill isn’t mandatory,it can provide a better understanding of how to perform it and when to use itin different situations before unlocking it. This feature is especially helpful since some skills may be challenging to execute, and with the plethora of skills available, it’s important toprioritize the ones that will benefit you the mostand be most useful in your journey.

In fact, you can use this training room to experiment with different combos as well and get better at performing them.
You Can Easily Reset Skills
While we encourage you to train skills before unlocking them, sometimes certain skills may not meet your expectations in terms of usefulness, and you might worry about SP (skill points). But don’t fret, the game has you covered.
You can reset skills at any time using an item called SP Initialiser, which you canpurchase from the vending machine for just 200 G. This item can be used after interacting with the console that allows you to unlock skills at any camp. This feature allows you to experiment with different playstyles and try out new skills, especially during the early to mid-game.

It works by resetting skills from a specific skill tree, so keep that in mind.
There’s no limit to how many SP Initialisers you may purchase; in fact, we’ve managed to buy over a hundred of them! So feel free to reset and refine your skills as needed throughout your journey.

Keep A Good Supply For Healing Items
Combat is the central focus of the game, andyou’ll frequently find yourself in battles, meaning you’ll constantly need to heal. Thankfully, Eve has herRechargeable Tumblers, which serve as your primary method of healing. As the name suggests, these tumblers recharge every time you rest at a camp. However, starting the game with only three of them might not be sufficient.
But don’t worry, there are a couple of other healing items available. You can either find them in the world or purchase them from vending machines at camps.

TheLingering Potion gradually restores your HP over time, while theHighly Concentrated Potion instantly restores a good amount of HP. These will serve as your secondary means of healing and can be real lifesavers during boss fights. Moreover, they come at a cheap price in vending machines!
You can upgrade the charges of the Rechargeable Tumblersafter acquiring the necessary materials for the upgrade. This ensures you have an ample supply of healing resources as you progress through the game.
Level Up Your Affinity With Vendors
When you hear about romance or affinity in video games, you might expect falling in love with a character and going on dates, but this game does things differently. Its affinity system is exclusively related to most vendors, which you can identify bychecking the top right corner of their shop menu.
The system is simple:the more items you buy, the higher your affinity with them grows, with more expensive items boosting it further. It’s beneficial to aim for max level affinity becauseit unlocks new items for purchase, whether it’s cosmetics for Eve or new gear and items. Additionally, some vendors offer special quests that can be quite rewarding.
Some of the best characters to reach max affinity with areKayaandD1G-g2r.
Activate Waypoints
As you explore the various areas of the game, you’ll encountercertain phone booths that you should definitely interact with. These phone booths act aswaypoints, allowing you to travel between themand making it easier to navigate from one place to another.
If you do not interact with them, you can not use them, so make sure you geta prompt that says Waypoint Activated.
Keep in mind thatwaypoints only allow travel between phone booths within your current region. If you need to journey to a different region, you’ll need tospeak to Adam near the Tetrapoda. He’ll assist you in traveling to different regions beyond your current area.
Side Quests Of Course
Side quests serve not only to extend your gameplay time but also to introduce you to some of the most intriguing characters and storylines in the game. They’re typically straightforward and easy to complete, often requiring only a few steps.
you’re able to obtain side quests either bylocating the exclamation marks on the mapor bychecking the Bulletin Board.
Engaging in these quests canearn you more SP to unlock additional skills, provide materials necessary for upgrading and crafting, and evenreward you with useful gear for Eveto aid her in her mission.
There Is A Point Of No Return
It’s important to note thatthere’s a point of no return in the game, functioning similarly to other games with this feature. If you choose to proceed beyond this point, you won’t be able to complete quests or freely explore the world and travel between regions. Instead, the game will lead you along a more linear path towards finishing the main storyline.
Interestingly, this point of no return occursaround 60 percent of the way through the main progress.
The game will provide a clear indication when you’re approaching this point. So, if you receive the prompt, it’s essential to complete any side quests and explore regions thoroughly for any missed items or collectibles, as you won’t be able to go back once you’ve passed this threshold. This ensures you make the most of your exploration and questing before reaching the game’s final stages.
