Summary
EB-01 is the first extra booster in theOne Piece Card Game. Similar to side sets like inYu-Gi-Oh!, Memorial Collection includes new and exciting cards for players to enjoy and support their favorite archetypes. New support for Dressrosa, Impel Down, and Supernova decks are found within it and four new leaders enter the fold, including the first appearance of Tony Tony Chopper as a leader card.
Although the set introduces new leaders, all of the cards featured, strengthen decks even more, making decks like theThree Captains Starter DeckTrafalgar Law jump up to one of the strongest decks in the meta.

10Izo
The Whitebeard Pirates Will Never Die
While Izo’s On Play effect can be an efficient way to use your DON!!, his second effect is what makes this card so powerful. Whenever your opponent attacks, you’re able to trash a card from your hand and give a character -2,000 power for the turn.
This effect turns every card in your hand into a pseudo-2,000 counter while also preventing characters that can attack multiple times from dealing damage to your characters or your life cards.

9T-Bone
New Support For Navy Decks
Being that the Memorial Collection is made to support older decks, most old strategies lacked a good 2,000 counter that is just as good in the hand as it is on the board. T-Bone is a great 2,000 counter for Navy decks. While he’s a high cost at five DON!!, he can K.O. a 2-cost character as soon as he hits the field.
When combined with cards like Hina or Helmeppo, T-Bone can destroy big targets easily.

8Shirahoshi
Great Answer To K.O. Effects
For a while, the One Piece Card Game meta revolved around being able to K.O. small-powered blockers to push for game. Blocker cards like ST01 Chopper became less and less relevant with easy ways to remove them.
To counteract that easy removal, small blockers now have powerful effects that give them a different type of value. Shirahoshi lets you heal one life whenever she is K.O. by an effect rather than battle, forcing the opponent to either waste an attack that will be blocked or give you another life.

7Cavendish
Supernovas Galore!
There is a ton of great Supernova support found in EB-01, and although Cavendish is exclusive to Supernova leaders, he is a menace as soon as he is played. Cavendish will let you set two DON!! as active whenever it is played and whenever you attack with it.
This card can help you further extend your combos and its a key piece to OP-07 Jewelry Bonney’s strategy, since she needs DON!! active at the end of the turn.

6Brook
The Soul King Is Here! YOHOHO!
Typing-wise, this Brook card doesn’t offer too much synergy with Navy and other cost-reducing black decks, but its cost alone means it can be slotted into just about any deck of that color. Since Brook cannot be searched in most of these Navy decks, he’ll most likely end up in the trash, meaning you should be able to bring it back with cards like Rebecca or Gecko Moria.
Keep in mind that Brook’s cost reduction effect also occurs whenever he attacks, so if you can manage to keep him alive, he’ll be a great asset to your deck.

5Sanji
Black Leg Sanji’s FILM RED Version Arrives!
Sanji is another 2,000 counter for Film decks, but what makes this card so much better than the rest, is that with Uta’s ability, you can find it easily. Players were waiting for a while for the final Straw Hat to receive a Film card and now that he’s here, he’s a welcome addition to any Film engine green deck.
This card can easily be cheated out by Monkey.D.Luffy’s effect, and can be a huge threat in the late game. He powers up depending on the amount of rested DON!! that you have.

4Viola
With the release of the Three Brothers Starter Deck, players were introduced to a new playstyle that revolved around flipping your own life face up. Most of the leaders came with a downside in which your face up cards are sent to the trash or the bottom of your deck.
EB-01 Viola is a great way to prevent that loss. She is a blocker, but her On Play effect lets you rearrange your life cards or flip them all face down.

3Charlotte Flampe
Drawing Will Never Stop Being Powerful
Yellow decks have stayed consistently on top of the meta gamesince their inception, so it can be argued that maybe they didn’t need another searchable 2,000 counter. Not only is Flampe a great asset in your hand, but she can help decks out that turn their life face up, like Blue Yellow Ace, to prevent them from going to the trash while drawing an extra card from your deck.
With Charlotte Pudding getting a leader card in OP-08, yellow will not stop its reign.

2Kid & Killer
Rush Down Your Opponents
Finally, some Kid Pirates support! Well… no. Even though Kid & Killer are excellent additions to theRed Purple Eustass Kiddeck, this card truly shines in the best deck in the format, Red Purple Trafalgar Law. The deck can cheat out four-drops like no other, making a card with rush an excellent target.
The deck usually focuses on multiple 5,000 power attacks, but the lack of DON!!, lends it to be lacking in the high damage department. This card is an excellent finisher.

1Mr.2.Bon.Kurei(Bentham)
Ramp And An Attacker? Mr. 2 Is The Best
Long name aside, the honorary Straw Hat is one of the best cards in the set. It ramps DON!!, it has a counter, and an incredible offensive effect. When attacking, Mr. 2 can match an opponent’s character’s base power.
Not being leader-locked, the card can be included in almost any purple deck, like Crocodile, but more specifically, Trafalgar Law. Many power-based removal effects easily remove the card, but the value and flexibility that this card has is unmatched.
