Godzilla and King Kong Fighting in the Toho Classic King Kong Vs Godzilla

10King Kong

A Fight Against America’s Most Iconic Monster

King Kong and Godzilla first fought in the Toho Film, “Godzilla Vs King Kong”. One of the challenges in bringing both monsters together was their difference in height. Hence, King Kong was brought up to the same scale as Godzilla and given a unique power. King Kong’s power was a significant increase in strength and speed whenever he came into contact with electricity.

This allowed the less confrontational Kong to step up and go toe to toe with the atomic lizard, even going as far as to shove an entire tree into Godzilla’s mouth. In the original Japanese version of the film, Godzilla came out victorious, but in the American cut, King Kong was crowned the victor.
