10Grymforge
The Grymforge is an area uncovered while traveling through the Underdark in Act 1. Worshipers of The Lady of Loss built the forge, and now The Absolute surround it and keep Deep Gnomes as slaves. This location houses the legendaryAdamantine Forge, relating to a side quest you will encounter during your travels.
As you explore the various quests available around the Grymforge, you’ll encounter amazing visual designs, such as the towering entrance to the forge and rivers of steaming lava flowing through the area.

Take the boats in the Decrepit Village to get to the Grymforge.
9Wyrm’s Crossing
Wrym’s Crossing is the primary area to cross into the city by land in Act 3. You will see the River Chionthar running alongside a beautiful landscape and a skyline view of the buildings. The architecture includes well-designed stone arches, large drawbridges, and a towering Flaming Fist fortress.
While it doesn’t offer major quests or possess any legendary loot, it is one of the prettiest areas to view and an essential landmark in the game.

8Emerald Grove
This grove is one of the first locations you discover in Baldur’s Gate 3. Early in Act 1, you encounter the tieflings and druids sheltering in this area. The Emerald Grove, also known as Silvanus’s Grove, encompasses The Hallow and Sacred Pool, areas that are sacred to druids.
The grove is surrounded by lush, green land, full of flowers, plants, and different animals. As the druid’s main duty is to protect the land, it’s no surprise this blessed area is so beautiful.

7Baldur’s Gate City
Baldur’s Gate City is the most critical location on the map, stemming an overwhelming amount of side quests and challenges, all leading up to the final confrontation with the Elder Brain. The attention to detail the designers had when crafting the city is monumental in the gaming industry.
The architecture is constructed with every intricacy in mind. The bustling streets have something interesting to look at with every turn, with interesting side quests and new developments. The visuals heighten the narrative structure you encounter as you traverse the big city.

6House Of Hope
Accessed during Act 3,The House of Hopeis the home of Raphael. The home is ornate with Victorian and Gothic influences, and the views from the windows and balconies are impressive. You get a peek at the cliffs and hills of Avernus as you sneak your way through the devil’s house.
While the acts committed in the House of Hope are devious, the visual design is well-done and worth exploring. In addition, the fights and loot in this area are some of the best in the game.

Find the House of Hope through a portal after performing the required ritual in the Devil’s Fee.
5Moonrise Towers
Moonrise Towers is a major location in Act 2. Originally built by an architect as a symbol of Selûne, the tower is now home to The Absolute, commanded by the now-twistedKetheric Thorm.
Cloaked in theShadow-Lands, this massive structure looms from the darkness with towering stone spires, an ode to stone masonry and metalworking. Moonrise Towers is decorated with vandalized depictions of Selûne, lavish furniture, and stained-glass windows. The malevolent atmosphere adds to the decor and makes it one of the most visually stunning locations in the game.

4Gauntlet Of Shar
The Gauntlet of Sharis an underground temple in Act 2. It’s a training ground for the followers of Shar to become Dark Justiciars. The initiates follow a series of trials as they navigate the dark passages.
The scope of the dungeon is overwhelming. The ritualistic ambiance permeates every step and you encounter massive sculptures of Shar and firelit, purple marble walls stretching for miles. The mystery and intrigue of Sharran worship are felt as you traverse the seemingly endless temple, unsure of what lurks in the shadows.

3Rosymorn Monastery Trail
If you decide to take the Underdark to Act 2, you may miss the beauty of the Rosymorn Monastery Trail. The lush, green land surrounding the Mountain Pass is some of the most gorgeous scenery in the game, particularly the wide, scenic view of the Monastery from the cliffs.
The nearby ruins are some of the best-designed locations in the game, boasting stained-glass windows, hidden passages, and crawling vines that climb to the rooftop. The surrounding cliffs, towering architecture, and overgrown plant life make it an aesthetically pleasing location.

The Monastery has three different levels. You need to use Jump, Fly, and climb veins to reach different parts.
2Astral Plane
The Astral Plane is one of the coolest settings in Baldur’s Gate 3. It looks more sci-fi than fantasy, different than any other location in the game. Accessed in all three Acts, it’s the home of the Dream Guardian encountered throughout the story.
The strange, otherworldly location boasts bright nebulae, making you feel like you’re floating through the cosmos. A gigantic skull of a dead god is situated in the middle of the plane, adding to the void-like, eeriness of the place. It’s more unique than any other location in the game.

1The Underdark
If you travel through the Mountain Pass, you may completely skip the visually stunning Underdark. This mysterious passageway is completely different from the other areas accessed in Act 1.
Contrary to what you might expect, the location is full of beauty and bioluminescent plants. While danger still lurks at every turn, the bright burst of color provided by mushrooms and other glowing plants stands out against the darkness and provides a calming, unexpected charm that is perfect for screenshots.
