Summary
Yes, the rumors really were true, there is a Legend of Zelda Lego set in the works. Zelda fans who have been following this saga closely knew that, but nowLegohas finally confirmed it. Not only has the base rumor that Zelda Lego is coming been confirmed, but pretty much everything that was leaked appears to have been accurate. The set really is a two-in-one Great Deku Tree, it costs $299.99, and it will be released on July 11, 2025.
The store pagefor the set is already up on the Lego website, providing a first look at Zelda’s debut Lego set. Made up of 2,500 pieces, Lego-loving Zelda fans will be able to choose from one of two Great Deku tree designs before they begin their build without having to buy two sets. Unless you want to step back and admire both Deku Tree designs at once, in which case you’re going to have to buy two. If you want to build both trees without spending $600, you will need to be prepared to destroy your first tree before you may start building the second.
Two Great Deku Trees In A Single Lego Set
The Deku trees are based on the designs of the character/location in two of the most popular Legend of Zelda games ever. The first is modeled after the tree from theOcarina of Time, while the second is the Deku Tree you visit to retrieve the Master Sword inBreath of the Wild. There’s even a little Lego replica of the iconic weapon included which you can see Zelda and Link standing with the images of the completed BOTW Deku Tree build.
Yes, there are Minifigures included, although exactly how many hasn’t been confirmed. The aforementioned Link and Zelda figures are based on their looks in Breath of the Wild, and there appear to be at least two Link Minifigures included with the Ocarina of Time build. Even though we now know what the set will look like, in both its forms, Lego hasn’t revealed absolutely everything about the set, perhaps suggesting that it was fed up with the leaks and finally decided to just make everything official.
The Legend of Zelda will become the thirdNintendoproperty to get its own Lego set when The Great Deku Tree two-in-one build is released on September 1.
