Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroesis packed with things to do. From the main story to myriad recruitment quests, Card Battle to Beigoma and beyond, this Kickstarter-fueled Suikoden successor RPG pulls out all the stops.
As a result, getting every achievement, trophy, whatever your preferred platform’s ecosystem calls them, means engaging with all manner of content. Many achievements are easy-peasy. Plenty of them will pop as you progress through Nowa’s tale. But the nine achievements on this list are anything but automatic.

9Know Thy Enemy
There are over 150 regular enemies and a decent number of bosses in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The bosses will come naturally as the story goes on, and the majority of those run-of-the-mill foes will pop up with ease.
This brings you close to completing the castle’s bestiary book and earning the “Know Thy Enemy” achievement. It’s those few stragglers that gave us grief. Not because they’re especially rare, per se; it’s just a roll of the dice, really, and we had a hard time finding a few monsters as a result.

Thankfully, none of them disappear, so you can waltz back to wherever you think you may have missed a baddie. Piecing it all together is easier said than done, though.
8Eggfoot Race Hero
To qualify for the “Eggfoot Race Hero” achievement, you must earn first place in all 42 eggfoot race mini-game tracks. To even begin this manic mission,Paquia needs to have been recruited.
From there, it’s a matter of winning races until your buddy is outclassed, breeding better buddies, going through enough prior races to pump up their stats, making it through as manyfurtherraces as possible, and repeating until they’re all in your rearview mirror.

You’ve also got to deal with a guy who keeps shouting the same six lines ad nauseam, and there isn’t an option to speed up the proceedings. Our advice? Multitask.
7Hero Beyond Time And Space
To snag this trophy, you must complete all trials at the Heroes Proving Grounds, the high-difficulty endgame gauntlet that unlocks via opening up your castle’s Mysterious Room. 26 increasingly tough stages await you, buta downright comical number of level-upswill be yours along the way, too.
Upon reaching the end of those 26 stages, you will gain access to an endless mode with enemies who pack an even stronger punch. Once again, you’ll need to bring your A-game. And, once again, your party’s levels will skyrocket.

6Gourmand Hero
Collecting every recipe in Eiyuden Chronicle is a lot of work. Some are found in treasure chests. Some are gained through quests.
Others are tied to the game’s odds-based “star item” system, which means they’ll have a mere five percent chance of appearing in specific shop inventories, and if they aren’t present when you check, the timer won’t reset for another half an hour.

“Gourmand Hero” is thus one of those nagging awards that has a straightforward premise but a complex set of steps. You will be scouring every kingdom, every dungeon’s nook and cranny, and checking merchants with great zeal if you have aspirations of becoming a true master chef in Eiyuden Chronicle.
5Last One To Appear
Collecting all 120 heroes is no small task. (And yes, “Hundred Heroes” is a misleading subtitle. But it’s snappy, and that’s what counts.) Not only are certain characters notoriously difficult to obtain without guides - we’re looking at you,Huang,Rody- but the semi-secret 120th, Leene, has a narrative cut-off point upon which she simply cannot be recruited.
“Last One to Appear” also necessitates the near-mastery of beigoma. you may’t get Dr. Torque without dedicating several hours to this, uh… look, if it weren’t forFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s3D Brawler, we’d be thinking of beigoma as the most frustrating mini-game of 2024.

4I Love Weapons
It’s not that maxing out every character’s weapon is hard, per se. It simply requires a massive monetary investment. But even that isn’t too tall an ask when the Heroes Proving Grounds will have you taking in the late-game gold.
Simply put, “I Love Weapons” is a bit tougher than “Last One to Appear” because it’s… “Last One to Appear” with an extra step involved. Not the most exciting explanation, but hey.

3Card Game Champ
You have recruited every character. Hurrah! But “Card Game Champ”, like “I Love Weapons”, makes “Last One to Appear” the foundation upon which to build your way to another achievement.
After you’ve unlocked Card Battle, you can begin to collect every card. New packs with additional cards are available for purchase when you unlock new nodes in the Drafting Room. Completing your collection earns you the fittingly-titled “Card Collector” achievement, but your Card Battle journey isn’t over yet.

Each time you recruit a new character, they become a potential opponent in the mini-game, so “Card Game Champ” tasks players with seizing that opportunity 120 times.
2Beigoma Collector
Ugh, look. Apologies to any reader of ours who has a burning passion for beigoma. We wish we were you. We are not you, and we will never be you. Collecting all beigoma means defeating all trainers - which nets the “Whirled Peace” achievement, by the way - but it also means relying on chance through rare enemy drops.
At least there’s a way to improve your odds considerably. CJ, the returning heroine of Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising fame, has a skill called Super Luck that drastically elevates your odds of obtaining items after battles. This, plus luck-boosting accessories and runes, means it’s a less daunting matter of locating the beigoma and watching them pile up in far less time.

Even so, it’s a lot…
1Legendary Hero
The only downside to these sorts of lists is that the number one entry has a certain air of inevitability about it. Indeed, the final piece, the platinum trophy, the ultimate achievement, is always going to be the hardest to obtain by its very nature.
“Legendary Hero” involves every one of our aforementioned requirements. You must also finish the story, build your castle to peak performance, ace all theatre performances, witness 40 hot springs events, and more. Do the late, great Suikoden and Eiyuden director Yoshitaka Murayama proud, friends!
