Nearly everything about Little Kitty, Big City is scream-inducingly adorable, but there are several bits of cuteness that stick out as some of the best details the game has to offer.

Helpful Recycling Really Pays Off
Whether you’re trying to stockpile shinies for your crow friend, or you just want to lend a helping hand in the community, there’s a real benefit to doing good for the city as you trot around. Cans can be picked up and brought to a trash receptacle for an extra adorable animation of Kitty dutifully disposing of the city’s infinite litter.
As a bonus, the recycling bin spits out some shinies for you to add to your collection. Of course, you should be throwing your trash away, even if the trash can doesn’t pay you to do it. This kitty’s cleanup initiative is going great.
9The Cinematic Nap Spots
Take A Quick Rest In Style
There is no end to the amount of places you can sit, from boxes to painstakingly kept shrines. Some special napping spots, though, come with a serene little cinematic animation that shows your kitty taking a snooze in a peaceful, picturesque spot.
Find every one of the napping spots for a special achievement, or just snap some cute screenshots of you and your ridiculous hat while you chill for a few minutes. These spots also double as a safe place to leave your kitty for a quick break without the danger of being tripped on or splat-bombed by birds.
8The Chameleon Has A Little Hat
And It Looks Great
Your friend Chameleon is a wily one, and likes to drop riddles while playing an impromptu game of hide-and-seek. While Chameleon’s camoflauge and hiding skills aren’t going to win any competitions any time soon, it’s still an adorable little creature.
The cutest part of this sneaky reptile isn’t in its color-changing speech bubbles or fun hiding spots, but in its choice of accessory. Chameleon is the only other animal character in the game who’s sporting their very own tiny little hat. Chameleon really knows how to dress for the setting.

In the construction area, it can be hard to move around with a pesky human chasing you around and carrying you out. Solve this problem by showing that human that you are a professional kitty, and you know the rules of workplace safety.
Wearing the hard hat not only protects you from safety code violations, but it actually allows you to pass through the manned construction zone without being stopped. You work here now, and you’re not going to let anyone tell you that you don’t.
6The Way The Ducklings Move
You Just Want To Keep Them Around
The side quest toround up all of Duck’s childrenand bring them back to the pond is a mess of cuteness that leads you all around the city. Every single move they make is too cute, from the way they fly to their waddling little runs.
The very best part of their adorability comes when they occasionally topple over, because they’re running too fast. Everything these flappy little dumplings do will have you thrilled that they’re still around as you make your way through the side quest.
5You Can Chase Your Tail
The Zoomies Aren’t Enough? Go Turbo
After playing a game for a long time, some people end up zoning out and walking their character around in goofy ways. This almost inevitably leads to spinning around in circles, which some games have taken to responding to in clever ways. Little Kitty, Big City noticed this, too, and added their own spin animation.
If you turn around in a circle a few times, your kitty will start chasing its tail. An entertaining escalation from the zoomies button, and it’s incredibly adorable to watch your cat just go wild to get that thing.
4The Cucumber Is Always Scary
Snake? No, Still A Vegetable
There’s an old urban legend that says that cats are startled by cucumbers because they mistake them for snakes. While this isn’t quite true, and it’s the sudden appearance of an object in their blind spot that does the startling, that hasn’t stopped millions of cat owners from spooking their feline friends with cucumbers.
The game had an answer for that, too. No matter how many times you pick that thing up, it’s still going to scare the hair off of your back when you turn back around. Sadly, the banana does not yield the same results.

Little Kitty, Big City is a game you can get through in a few hours, making it a bite-sized game that you can spend an evening with and leave feeling like you had an amazing time. The friends you make along the way have one more thing to do before you finish up, and they want to see you make it to the end.
As you begin your last ascent back to the warmth of your apartment, almost all of your pals from around the city are along the path to cheer you on and wish you luck. Great news for everyone who wanted to get another look at those ducklings.

You weren’t invited to this party, but no one’s protesting your arrival either. This lovely doll in fancy dress is hosting a tea party on a scenic terrace, right next to her fully outfitted dollhouse. She doesn’t have much to say, but she seems happy to have company during her quiet little get-together.
There’s nothing to interact with here, but the tea party sticks out amidst the other balconies with swattable plants and empty terraces. It’s a nice stop on your way to the top, and it’s super cute that someone took the time to put this little scene together for anyone who wanted to stop by.

It’s Your City Now, Little Cat
You’ve made it back home, but now what? Well, Crow has something to say about your journey, and a few extra words if you’re not done collecting all of the shinies and hats that you can find. If you miss your outdoor friends already, don’t worry. You can always come back to visit any time.
The game doesn’t end when you find your way back home. Instead, you can continue your adventure and head back down to the city below. Whether you’re trying toget to that hundred percent, or you weren’t ready to say goodbye to everyone, the city you fell in love with exploring will always be right there for you.
