One could argue that one of the key selling points ofEiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, is that you’re able to acquire, well, a hundred heroes (actually, you can acquiremorethan that). Hell, it is in the name! So, we did what must be done, and we scrapped the entire world for every last tidbit pertaining to these champions and their locations.
This guide will cover the conditions for recruiting every character, as well as their general location. Naturally, given how gargantuan the table below is, it doesn’t have a detailed breakdown of how to recruit each character. However, you can simply click on a character’s name, and you will be taken to a detailed guide covering how to acquire them.

Arenside
First Mission
Mio joins automatically at the beginning of the game. However, she will leave your party during the “Afterwards” chapter.She will rejoin permanently during the “Hometown on Fire” chapter.
Eltisweiss
The Watch Captain’s First Job
Speak with her in Eltisweiss, then complete theRedthroat Ridge dungeonalongside her.
Speak to her in Alterverden
Speak to him at Fort Xialuke
Werne Village
Chat with the Old Lady near the entrance of Werne Village. She’s looking for her granddaughter. Talk to Yume atRedthroat Ridge.
Infiltrate the Empire
Sabine will leave temporarily, but she’ll rejoin once you have completedThe Proving Groundsdungeon.
Talk to Martha and she’ll join.
Gather20 pieces of Lumber
Bounty Hill
Hoist the Alliance Banner
Talk to Wyler and agree to help him find his sister. He will join you once you locate Marin.
Search Bounty Hill for Marin. Once you encounter her, she will join your army.
Abandoned Mine
Talk to Hiro in the Abandoned Mine and he will join your army.
You’ll find Galdorf hanging out at the entrance to the Adandoned Mine. You’ll need to give himThe Palenight Mail.
Once you have your castle, head to Werne Village and talk to Frida in her stall.
Alteverdan
Falward is in the townhall located in the northwest corner of Alterverdan. Bring him15 Healing Herbs.
Your Castle
Get your castle to level 2, then you’ll find Leon passes out by the wester exit of the castle town.
Talk to Reid in Eltisweiss and he will introduce you to Beigoma. Talk to Dr. Corque in Eltisweiss, he will give you your first spinner. Beat the spinner inAltverden Village, thenKyshiri Village, and finallyWerne Village. Dr. Corque will now join you.
The Greatwood - East
The Village of the Treefolk
Bring him theRune of Conservation, which will be earned once you beat the boss at the end of The Greatwood.
Kallathor joins you automatically during The Village of the Treefolk chapter.
Euchrisse, the Land of Water
Take a left before you climb the stairs and you will run into Faye. You will need to encounter her with Yusuke, Francesca, and Yume. You’ll also recruit B’baba in the course of this quest.
Treefolk Village
Bring him a Sparkle Stone (which can be found in the Dapple Forest).
Head to the northwest corner of Werne Village. Simply talk to Pieter and he’ll join your army.
Twinhorne East
You need to find Mariette’s charmand give it to her. She will then join your army.
Just talk to Pastole and he will join you.
Just talk to Nell and they will join you.
Hishahn
You need tocatch the Wheel-Eye Breamand give it to Huang. He will then join you.
Find Carrie at each location she teleports to and she will join.
Beat Riufan in a one-on-one fight and he will join you.
Daphan
Just take Mio with you to Daphan and talk to her.
Just take Riufan with you to Daphan and talk to her.
You will need to complete the Beigoma questline to recruit Reid.
While you will be able to start the process of recruiting Reid in the Euchrisse, the Land of Water chapter, you won’t be able to fully recruit him until you have unlocked locations only available in later chapters.
Complete every cooking battle. Celia will join you once you have defeated every rival chef.
You have to bring him the Rune of Currents. you may obtain this rune from the boss you’ll fight in
Mountain Path Home
Found on the west side of the path.You need to have a party member with 250 MP.Just load up one of your best mages with accessories and runes to put them over this number.
The Assassinated Emperor
Bernard joins you automatically near the end of tThe Assassinated Emperor chapter.
Melridge joins you automatically near the end of tThe Assassinated Emperor chapter.
Seign joins you automatically near the end of The Assassinated Emperor chapter.
Hildi joins you automatically near the end of The Assassinated Emperor chapter.
Valentine joins you automatically near the end of The Assassinated Emperor chapter.
Pohl joins you automatically near the end of The Assassinated Emperor chapter.
New Forces
Upgrade your Rune-Lens shop to level 2 and then visit it. You will encounter Milana, who will then force herself into your party.
Debavin
Challenge Reyna in Debavin. You’ll need to do around1700 damagein a little over two rounds in order to convince her to join you.
Bring Rody the Pearl Stop Watch, which you can find in a chest in the Seaside Cave.
Pay Prunella100,000 Bacqua(she’ll give 50,000 of it back)
Talk to him in the blacksmith’s shop. Bring him 10 hunks of iron ore and he will join you.
After talking to Isha, you will need to find the black cat, gather a Cockatrice’s egg, and deliver it. Once you have done all of this, talk to her and she will join you.
Paquia is hanging out beside the stable in Arenside.She’ll want you to give her 5 Regular Eggs.you’re able to get them by killing the Shell Eggs.The best place to encounter these enemies is on the Redthroat Ridge.
Speak to Enoe in Daphan after having established your guild at your castle.
Dappled Forest
Have Enoe recruited and then speak to Fume. He will happily join you.
Talk to Larla in the Eltisweiss Inn once you have gathered a legendary item with a guild mission. She will then join you.
Ardinale City
In order to recruit Clarke you’ll need to bring him the Star-crossed Lovers script, which can be purchased in the Ardinale item shop for 5,000 Bacqua.Save at the Inn before you check the item shop for the script. If it isn’t there, reload and try again.
Aire will challenge you to a race. Whether you win the race or not will depend solely on Nowa’s speed stat (you may’t rely on other party members this time).You will need a SPD stat of 170 or greater.However, feel free to use Runes and accessories to help get you there.
Speak to Jorhan. Then go back to your castle and speak to Perrielle, who will tell you what antique you are looking for.Finally, head to Debavin and fight the beetles wandering outside its borders until you find the unidentified antique.Have it appraised, and then give it to Jorhan.
Simply talk to him and he will join you.
Impershi’arc
Across the Desert
Speak to Quinn, and agree tohelp her search the Den of the Dunesfor a Primal Lens. Once you complete the dungeon she will join you.
Shi’arcs of a Scale
Skyd will join as part of the story during the Shi’arcs of a Scale chapter.
Yufferius will join as part of the story during the Shi’arcs of a Scale chapter.
To the Safehouse
Once you have recruited Yuferius, go back and speak to Scarlet. Beat her time in the sand racing time trial minigame and she will join you.
The Rune-Lens Research Laboratory
Mihlu will join at the end of this chapter, once Seign’s mission has concluded.
Proving Ground
Reunion
Once you reach the Reunion chapter you’ll be able to find Galladur hanging out in the Proving Ground dungeon. He will be west of the device that rotates the dungeon.
Just head down that well, and once you reach the mines, travel directly west. Once you hit the westmost wall, travel south. You will run into Durlan.You will need to have unlocked the Mission: Mission Task 1 for your Mission Guild(this requires you to have unlocked your third castle level).
All you need to do is to bring Sydone iron ore, one dire beast bone, and one piece of lacquered wood.
Obtain castle level 4, and invest in the Mysterious Room. Now, head to your dungeon, and interact with the red glowing mark on the wall. Now, talk to her, and engage in the endurance battle. Win or lose, she’ll join you.
Yarnaan
To Norristar, the Western Nation
The moment you are able to visit Yarnaan, you will be able to recruit Goldsmid. He requires that a party member have aPWRstat that meets a certain threshold (250did it for us).
You will have Marisa join you at multiple points in the story, but she will become a permanent member during the “To Norristar, the Western Nation” chapter.
Talk to Dalton in Twinhorne East. Just like Durlan, you’ll need to haveunlocked the Guild Mission’s Mission Task 1before he’ll join you.
After hearing a villager mention seeing a Griffon, you’ll find Aleior near the Grum-County entrance to the Abandoned Mine. Bring Marisa with you and you will be able to recruit them.
Eldroad
Chandra is found on the Eldroad. You’ll need tohear about Chandra by entering into the training groundsof your castle. Now,put Code-L in your partyand go talk to this giant dragon. After fighting her (fire resistance runes will be helpful here), she’ll join your party.
Once Garoo has joined, you will be able to run into CJ near the front entrance of your castle. Accompany her to the Runebarrow, complete the dungeon, and she will join your party.
Twinhorne West
Assault
Talk to him in the Inn. He requires that you have a certain number of people recruited.
Talk to him and he will challenge you to earn 50,000 Bacqua through trading. For a guide on how to acheive this the quickest way possible, check out our complete trading guide.
Yarnaan Falls
Head to Twinhorne East with Iugo in your party. You’ll be challenged to combat by Aoi. Beat her and she’ll join you.
Athrabalt
Speak to Foxiel in Athrabalt. She’ll tell you she is looking for a recipe. Now, head back to your base and talk to Kurtz. He’ll give you what she is looking for. Bring it back to Foxiel and she’ll join you.
Talk to Allaby in your Hero’s Den to recruit her to your cause.
The Meeting of Kings
Encounter Momo in Hishahn. Agree to help him, and complete the Seaside Cave.
An Unexpected Ally
Markus will join you during this An Unexpected Ally chapter of the story.
Returning
Yulin will join as part of the story during the Returning chapter.
Declaring Victory
Elektra joins you automatically near the end of the Declaring Victory chapter.
Maxim joins you automatically near the end of the Declaring Victory chapter.
Viesskin joins you automatically near the end of the Declaring Victory chapter.
Vorridice joins you automatically near the end of the Declaring Victory chapter.
Goldwyn joins you automatically near the end of the Declaring Victory chapter.
After seeing him in the Den of Dunes, you’ll encounter Dijkstra in Twinhorne East. Accompany him to Vilashnu, complete the dungeon, and he’ll join you.
Snowpeak Pass
Head down the north path on Snowpeak Pass, and head to the northmost tip of that path. After a duel, El Alicanto will join you.
Once you have reached this chapter, make sure you have every other character, and Leene will join during Nowa’s big speech.
However,if you witness the cutscene before you have recruited all the other 119 characters, thenyou lose the ability to recruit Leene.
