Thundering Mephis
Apart from performing a bunch of high-damage attacks, this Echo can increase Yinlin’s Electro DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG by 12 percent. However,you have to finish its attack pattern to get the buff.
You’ll have to stay in the echo form for quite a lot with Thundering Mephis, whichcan be a downside if you have a fast-paced team.

Sanhua
Sub DPS
Sanhua can buff an ally’s Basic Attack DMG with her Outro Skill, which will help you deal agood amount of damage with Yinlinsince her Basic Attacks aren’t too damaging by default.
She can also deal a bit of damage herself when you have some downtime on Yinlin.
Verina
Buffer/Healer
Finally, since you’re dealing damage with both of the units in your team, you’llneed a support that can provide a party-wide buff. Verina is the best candidate for that with her damage bonus with the Outro Skill.
Buffer/Sub-DPS
For this one, you’ll need to build Yinlin’s Concerto Energy as fast as possible since she’ll rely on triggering her Outro Skill and giving theResonance Liberation DMG bonus to the main DPS.
Havoc Rover/Encore
Both Havoc Rover and Encore can deal quite a bit of damage in general, but their biggest hitscome from the Resonance Liberation. This team is built around buffing this aspect of their kit.
Jianxin
Jianxin can also buff the main DPS' Liberation DMG with her Outro Skill, but shecan also provide massive shield and healing to the active unitif you utilize her Forte properly.
Yinlin Overview And Skills, Explained
Now that you know the best gear you can use on Yinlin, you’llalso have to understand how her kit works to utilize them properly. Yinlin can function either as a main DPS or a sub-DPS in the team, but most of her damage comes from her Resonance Skill and Liberation. Here’s what all her abilities do:
Zapstring’s Dance
Basic Attack
Yinlin’s basic attacks are generic attacks that you’ll find on most characters. She can perform up to four damage instances with the basic attack and onehigh-damage instance with the heavy attack.
Moreover, her mid-air attack leads to a plunge attack dealing AoE damage on the ground while her counterattacklets you deal extra damage after a successful dodge.
Magnetic Roar/Lightning Execution
Resonance Skill
Deals AoE damage while Yinlin enters an Execution Mode. In this mode, her attacks candeal an instance of damage to enemies with Sinner’s Mark(explained below) up to four times.
This extra damage only triggers with Yinlin’s basic attacks. You can use the Skill again before it enters a cooldown todeal another instance of AoE damage.
Chameleon Cipher
Forte Circuit
You can get Judgement Points with your basic attacks, Resonance Skills, and Intro Skill. When these points reach 100, you can trigger a special heavy attack thatconverts Sinner’s Mark into Punishment Mark.
Sinner’s Mark
Special Effect
This effect is applied to an enemy that gets attacked by yourbasic attack, Resonance Liberation, or Intro Skill. All Sinner’s Mark disappears if Yinlin exits the field.
Punishment Mark
This effect doesn’t disappear when Yinlin exits the field. When a target with Punishment Mark is attacked by any means,all targets with this mark take damage. It lasts for 18 seconds.
Thundering Wrath
Resonance Liberation
Deals high and multiple instances of Electro DMG to enemies in a wide AoE.
Enters the field and deals AoE damage.
Strategist
Outro Skill
Increases theElectro and Resonance Liberation DMGof the character you switch to for up to 14 seconds or until they’re switched out.
Yinlin Forte Priority
Now that you understand what each part of Yinlin’s kit does, the next step is to find out where to spend your resources first. To be clear, if you’re using Yinlin as a main DPS, you’ll have to upgrade and unlock every possible forte. However,you can start with Forte Circuitas this has the damage multiplier for her Punishment Mark.
Even though you have to upgrade Forte Circuit for Punishment Mark, itsdamage still gets buffed with Resonance Skill DMG.
You can follow this up with her Resonance Liberation, Skill, Intro Skill, and Basic Attack. It’s highly recommended toupgrade the Liberation second since it deals a ton of damage. Moreover, you can skip her Basic Attacks if you’re using her as a sub-DPS or an off-field support.
