Summary
Clothing is a huge part ofStardew Valley.Each of the NPCs has unique outfits that match their personalities perfectly. With the 1.6 updates, we got brand-new winter outfits for every character, which was a welcome change.
Some of these outfits are more elaborate and universally liked, and a couple of others fall a little flat. Below you’ll find All Winter Outfits Ranked.
14Linus and Sam
The Best Of The Best
These two outfits are tied for first place because they’re both adorable and bring a new side to these NPCs. InLinus’ case, his outfit is very warm, and the full head covering is almost bird-like.
Sam’s outfit gives him a whole new look; the beanie showcases him in a different light, bringing out a softer side to him. The colors are also great, and the green hat and brown jacket pair well together.
13Haley
Monochrome Beauty
Haley’s monochrome outfit suits her perfectly; she’s very pretty, and almost always wears a seemingly perfect outfit, and this one is no exception. The light colors make her eyes stand out, adding to her winter aesthetic.
The best part of this outfit is the earmuffs. It’s a unique addition, and one that makes alot of sense for her.
12The Kiddos
Leo, Vincent & Jas
All the kiddos have adorable outfits to wear in the winter; they’re very different but showcase each personality perfectly.Jas’ colorful jacket and puffy hat with cute pigtails are so sweet, andVincent’s hat and starry eyes truly add to his adorable persona.
Leo takes the cakewhen it comes to winter clothes, and even though they aren’t incredibly different from his regular outfit, it comes with a feathery hood. It’s one of the simpler changes, but in Leo’s case, it’s perfect.
11Caroline
Seasonal Queen
Caroline’s outfit is very seasonal, with an adorable red sweater, a white collar, and matching red hair ties to bring it all together. The hair ties are the best addition: even though it’s such a minor change, it makes the outfit feel more cohesive.
Overall, the outfit is a superb look, and it stands out more than some of the others. Plus, having green hair doesn’t hurt.
10Emily And Marnie
Glow Ups
Marnie’s outfit is a glow-up. Her hair is down, as opposed to the braid she usually has, and she has a beautiful dress, with a sparkling purple jacket with flowers.
Emily’s outfit issuch a perfect fit; she has a gorgeous blue sweater that matches her hair, and a great red scarf and hat. The white dots look like snowflakes, which is the best touch.
9Elliot And Sebastian
Men In Scarves
Elliott’s outfit screams, “I’m a slightly superficial author living on the beach.” The attire is gorgeous, and he looks confident wearing it, with the scarf draping over him perfectly and the splash of red bringing out his hair.
Sebastian’s outfit is spot on, with a leather jacket, and a long black scarf. I wouldn’t have minded a little more variety in color,but he is our emo king,and it is admirable that he stays consistent.
8Abigail
Modern Clothing
Abigail’s outfit is a bit more modern than the rest of them, which helps her stand out from the crowd. Her jacket has a unique look, with a few cute buttons to tie it together.
Abigailis never someone who follows the status quo and her winter clothing proves that. This outfit even looks cool when you may see her entire body (as opposed to just the portrait).
7Smartly Dressed
Gus, Leah, Harvey, And Robin
These four outfits are all outstanding, so it’s hard to say who wins between them.Gushas a bright and beautiful sweater,Robin has anawesome flannel,Leahhas a gorgeous blue jacket, and Harvey’s little red tie is a showstopper.
All four of these outfits fit with the season and elevate these characters' looks. Therefore, it’s a tie.
6Jodi And Lewis
Accessories, Baby
Jodi’s outfit is a purple sweater with a geometric pattern on it, and the best part is the addition of her beautiful earrings. Having a droopy earring makes her face pop, and it’s such a small detail, but it makes a huge difference.
Lewis' outfit is great, and using mustard as the primary color was a fabulous choice. His bowtie, though, steals the show, which it’s a touch that elevates his outfit and makes him look snappy.
5Penny And Maru
Sophisticated Girlies
Maru’s outfit is very sophisticated, which makes her look a bit older. If Maru had an accessory, even just a hair clip, she’d be higher on the list.
Penny’s outfit is sweet and gives off school teacher vibes. Green is a beautiful color on her. This outfit would have been better if we could have seen a jewelry or hair switch up, just to get a new side of Penny.
