Summary
The social aspect ofStardew Valleyis a huge part of the game. You can date multiple people, and many players are die-hard fans of certain marriage candidates, and work hard to woo them. In order to get ten hearts with each of the marriage candidates, you can ask them to date you by giving them a bouquet.
If you’re no longer interested in one of the marriage candidates, you can break off your relationship by giving them aWilted Bouquet. You simply put a bouquet in the furnace, and then give it to the marriage candidate you want to break up with. Below, you’ll find All Wilted Bouquet Responses.
12Haley
The Switch Up
Haley’s face is the largest reaction in her response. Her eyes get wide, and a little watery when you hand her the wilted bouquet, then she quickly covers up how she feels.
She looks back at you with a smile, suggesting that she was going to break up with you, and you just happened to beat her to it. The switch is sudden and shows howclosed off Haley can be.
11Sebastian
The Saddest Boy
Sebastian, in his typical sad boy fashion,makes the most distraught face imaginable when you give him the wilted bouquet. His eyes shift, and his eyebrows wrinkle. He responds with a simple, “Alright…”
Unlike other bachelors, he doesn’t protest at all; he simply accepts his fate, and then casually mentions that he’ll see you around. He’s torn up, but doing his best to maintain his composure.
10Harvey
The Devastated Doctor
Harvey has one of the saddest responses to getting the wilted bouquet, his face twists in a frown as he looks at the farmer in confusion, and questions them. Shortly after, he reveals that he thinks he’s going to be sick.
Harvey is one of the more mature bachelors, so it’s a bit heartbreaking to watch him crumble over the breakup. If I were you, I’d think twice before putting him through that kind of heartbreak.
9Shane
Self-Deprecating King
When you hand the wilted bouquet to Shane, his first response is a big gulp. He looks away and then tells you he should have seen this coming, which breaks your heart just a little bit.
Shane then meets your eyes again, and with a few pauses, says his equivalency of “I’ll see you around,” which is “I’ll see you at the Saloon.” Given his history, Shane’s response does make you regret giving him that bouquet.
8Emily
The Brief Breakup
Emily has one of the shortest responses of the bachelorettes. She frowns, and then protests, stating that she thought that the farmer and herhad a special bond.
Then, Emily sniffs, and it’s assumed that she begins to cry. The conversation ends there.
7Sam
Let’s Be Friends
Sam has one of the longer responses; his eyes go wide, and he looks at you in horror, responding with confusion. He then looks to the side, mentioning that he thought that we were doing okay, and he guesses he was way off.
Sam then moves to acceptance and agrees to be the farmer’s friend. He’s sweet through the whole thing, and more surprised than anything else.
6Abigail
Calm Queen
Abigail is fairly understanding, she pauses a bit as she exclaims that she gets that you see her as just a friend. She looks away, her lips straight, refusing to make eye contact with you.
She then mentions that you weren’ta good match, still refusing to look at you. She’s honest and disappointed but stays calm throughout.
5Leah
Unlucky Leah
Leah, similar to Emily, has a very short response to the farmer breaking up with her; she frowns, looks away, and says that she gets it. She mentions that she doesn’t have a lot of luck when it comes to dating, which, considering her past heart scenes, is a bit depressing.
The older bachelorettes overall have more mature responses. They’re sad and a little confused, but don’t get angry, or take it out on the farmer.
4Maru
Angry And Resigned
It was surprising to see how angry Maru gets in response to the wilted bouquet. Her eyebrows scrunch together, and she glares at you, accusing you of thinking she isn’t good enough.
She then looks to the side, her face softening, and quietly accepts the breakup. She’s putting on a front but obviously isn’t okay.
3Alex
I Won’t Beg
Alex’s eyes go wide, and he looks shocked to have received the wilted bouquet. He turns quickly, very similar to Haley’s response.
He mentions that the farmer has made their choice, and then says “You’re not gonna see me begging.” He wantssome semblance of prideafter the breakup, which makes a lot of sense for his character.
