The microscopic world ofGroundedhas become much more weaponized – with the arrival of the Fully Yoked 1.4 update. These weapons will revolutionize your survival strategies in the backyard, especially given the changes made to infused creatures. The Fully Yoked update also brings an additional mode (New Game Plus), new buildings, additional platform support, and bug fixes for a better gameplay experience.
To unlock some of the weapons available in the new update, you will need to get the new game plus, after which they will be available to unlock at25,000 RSper weapon. The following are some of the best weapons you’re able to acquire with the new update. Note that this is the final update for the game.
7Ant Queen Staff
This is atwo-handed weapon with the ability to throw acidic goo. It can work as a ranged weapon, where you fire off a green glob substanceat a distance and deal significant damage to enemies. You can also hold down the attack to continuously unleash the projectiles consecutively.
To unlock the Ant Queen Staff, you have to craft it yourself, with one of the primary materials being theFire Ant Queen Pheromone. Instead ofrelying on brute force, you can use this weapon to initiallyweaken enemies and then finish them offwith another weapon, especially if you upgrade it to its maximum level (15) to get more damage output.
To get the Fire Ant Queen Pheromone, you may either befriend the Fire Queen Ant or defeather and loot the pheromone from her.
6Ant Queen Scepter
This one-handed melee weapon allows you to summon and turn a creature to your side, which can help you engage other enemies. Keep in mind, however, that the weapon has lower damage than other weapons because its main purpose is to summon.
Just like the Ant Queen Staff, you have to craft the weapon using theRed Ant part,sap,Red Ant mandibles, and theRed Ant Queen Pheromone. Upgrading the weapon will increase the summon HP, give you an increase in speed, and can be used effectively when you summon the creatures and use another weapon to deal damage to enemies.
5Fungnir
The Fungir weapon is a spear that excels at speed, crafted from an infected Ant Queen. It can only be obtained once you begin the new game plus. The weapon has a very high attacking speed and can be upgraded to its maximum level for more damage and a three-hit combo sequence.
You can also hold down the spear when attacking, triggering the weapon to create an explosive charge attack. To craft this spear, you will first have to infect an Ant queen and then kill the infected queen to get one of the resources.
You can acquire the recipe for the poison you will use to infect the queen within the Haze laboratory.
4Salt Chipper
The Salt Chipperdoubles as a hammer, allowing youto harvest resourcessuch as marble. It also hasthe ability to inflict bleeddamage on the enemies with the third hit combo.
Compared to some heavier weapons, this weapon boasts a faster attack speed, which overwhelms your opponent. Note that the Salt Chipper has no bonus effects since it relies purely on its bleed and attack speed after maximum upgrade for its effectiveness.
3Frosted Flake
The Frosted Flake is one of the weapons that can only be unlocked via theNew Game Plus. These axes offer a fantastic balance between power and speed. you’re able to upgrade this weapon at the yoking station at level ten to get 90 percent extra damage and theFinale Fury abilityto increase your attack speed.
This axe has a higher stun level, which can be essential whenhandling some of the high-tier bosses. 2Sour Katanga
This weapon is among the final set of weapons in the third tier of the newgame plus, which means you have to play it fora third time and defeat the bosses once again to unlock it. The Sour Katanga has a decent attack speed that allows you to overwhelm enemies before they can react.
Being aone-handed weapon, the Sour Katanga has a shorter reach compared to sometwo-handed weaponssuch as spears. This may force youto get closer to enemies, which can be risky against larger foes. You can upgrade it to deal more damage and toattain theFinale Parry ability.
1Picklemaul
This weapon resembles a large mace with a large green body attached to a wooden stick. It can be unlocked after reaching the third tier of the new game plus. The Picklemaul features a high damage and stun stat, which can be effective when attacking larger but slower enemies.
Keep in mind thatit has a relatively lower attacking speed but can be upgraded to get theFinaleAfter Shock Ability, which emits a powerful AoE shockwave after your final hit in a three-hit combo sequence.
