Harvest Huntmight be the last game you’d want to be in due to its dark and eerie atmosphere. Every night, you try to collect resources called Ambrosia while dealing with the Devourer haunting the village. It’s a challenging task, not as easy as it sounds, and playing while constantly feeling the breath of the Devourer on your neck can be quite exhausting.
The Wardens, or you, chosen by the village, have different starting strengths. Additionally, in each Harvest Season, you’ll acquire new strengths in addition to the ones you already have. So, what are the best Warden Strength cards? We answer this question with this guide.

Loiterer
Thanks to the Loiterer card, you willgain two Vigor approximately every two secondswhile crouching. This makes the Warden Strength card incredibly valuable. Since you will choose a Tool every night and the selected Toolsreduce your starting Vigor, walking around with low Vigor is quite risky.
Additionally, many situations pose risks, such as taking damage from the Devourer’s attacks or poisoning effects. Furthermore, theRations that heal you are not infinite, and there might be times when you cannot find them. In such situations, instead of walking around with low Vigor, crouching and hiding to heal yourselfmakes this card indispensable.

Lookout
The Lookout card allows you tosee the Devourer from a distance and through objectsusing Warden’s Sight. Under normal circumstances, what you see is quite limited when using Warden’s Sight (the mask). These include tools, exit points, and the Effigy that allows you to banish the Devourer.
Now, with the ability to see the Devourer through your mask, there’s no need to use bells or search for it.Normally, when using the bells, it could approach from an unexpected direction, creating a surprise factor. However, now that you know its location, you remove this advantage from the Devourer.

Also, knowing where Devourer is allows you to collect Ambrosias without fear or worry.
Messenger
The Messenger card has a simple yet effective feature:it increases your walking and running speed.Naturally, the direct boost to your walking speed is very useful for escaping from the Devourer. Additionally, since it also increases your running speed, this card makes it unlikely for you to get caught if you avoid obstacles and find good hiding spots.
Remember that your speed will slow down when you enter crop fields while escaping the Devourer. You caneliminate this disadvantage by picking the Farmer card.

Gourmand
The Gourmand cardincreases the healing effects of Rations.Normally, each Ration restores 30 Vigor. With the Gourmand card, this healing effect is doubled so that Rations willheal you for 60 Vigor.Considering that the Devourer’s first hit takes away 50 Vigor and continues to deal damage afterward, Rations are extremely important in the game.
Under normal circumstances, after surviving an attack, you would need to consume at least two Rations to restore your Vigor. However, with Gourmand, even one Ration becomes highly effective. Additionally, given that Rations are not unlimited, this allows you to be more economicalby consuming them less frequently.

Vandal
The Vandal card allows you todisable Fiends by interacting with them.Fiends can be quite bothersome asthey can attract the Devourer to your locationbased on the type of Fiend detecting your sound or light.
In this already stressful game, having to deal with Fiends can be extremely annoying and exhausting. With Vandal, you neutralize the Fiend threat. All you need to do is approach a Fiend and, within two or three seconds, disable it permanently for the night.

Farmer
The Farmer card allows you tomove at normal speed while traversing cornfields, preventing any slowdown. Considering that alarge portion of the map is covered with cornfields, you will inevitably want to enter the cornfields while moving, especially when escaping from the Devourer.
However, moving slowly in the cornfields makes it easy for the Devourer to catch youat the slightest mistake. So, there’s no need to lose speed, right? Additionally, even if you want to quickly grab Ambrosias and escape, you might still end up entering the cornfields. In short, regardless of your playstyle, the Farmer card can be a lifesaver in this game where moving quickly is crucial.

Lurker
The Lurker card allows you tomove and run without making any noise. It also lets you move silently through noisemakers. Normally, there aremany factors that can attract the Devourer’s attention, including fiends, the light you’re holding, or the type of surface you’re moving on.
Considering that the Devourer contaminates Ambrosias, moving very slowly may initially seem like a good idea, but it actuallymakes achieving your main objective more difficult. With the Lurker card, you can quickly move and collect Ambrosias without drawing the Devourer’s attention.
This card can be considered a quiet and effective weapon as it allows you toneutralize sound fiends as well.
