Summary

Stardew Valleyis a game where the NPCs have incredible depth. You get multiple cut scenes with each character, allowing you to really get to know them. It’s no wonder there are so many online battles about who thebest marriage candidateis, and why. The characters are lovable and real. They make mistakes, cry, and change as they get to know the farmer.

Disney characters are similar; they are lovable, people have crushes on them, and they grow throughout their films. Below are 10 Stardew Valley Characters and their Disney character counterparts.

10Penny - Belle

The Bookworms

Pennyis an adorable teacher who spends her time reading, tutoring children, and hanging out with her best friend Maru. She is loving, sweet, and takes time to truly trust you, and a lot of her early dialogue is shy and tepid.

IfPennywas a Disney Princess, she would clearly be Belle; they both love to read, keep to themselves, and care about others deeply. They are surrounded by people who are a bit dark, with a soft side to them (i.e. the Beast and Pam).

9Leah - Isabella Madrigal

The Nature-Loving Artists

Leah and Isabella present very differently but have the same core ideals; they both embrace nature, Leah prefers natural gifts, such as salad and driftwood, and Isabella creates beautiful plants, such as jacarandas. Both of these characters are kind-hearted, determined, and caring, and they’re also both artists, though in different ways, as Leah creates unique sculptures, and Isabella creates beautiful floral arrangements.

Leah and Isabella both have complicated situations with their exes; Leah has an obsessive ex, and Isabella’s ex-boyfriend was forced upon her by her grandmother. However, both of these characters handle these situations with grace.

8Maru - Shuri

The Scientists

Maru and Shuri are both confident, amazing women surrounded by science, and in Stardew Valley, you always seeMarutinkering with robots or doing research. Her heart-cut scenes include looking at stars through her telescope, getting electrocuted by her invention, and making a robot.

Similarly, Shuri is an incredibly intelligent individual; she is the princess of Wakanda and is known for her scientific inventions. She’s also very strong, eventually becoming the Black Panther, so these two characters are awe-inspiring, and similar in the best ways.

7Hayley - Elsa

The Cold Hearted Ones

When you first meet Hayley, she’s cold and distant; she has no interest in the farmer, and can even be a bit shallow. However, the more you get to know her, the more you will notice that she’s sweet and cares about animals and her sister.

Elsa has a similar journey; since she is scared of her powers, she stays away from others and comes off as cold and distant. However, once you get to know her, you see how caring she is, and the best similarity between these two characters is their love for their sisters.

6Pierre - Zazu

The Annoying Ones

Pierreisn’t bad, but he isn’t good either. His products are overpriced, and when you give him high-quality crops, he tries to sell them off as his own. He even has a cut scene where he asks you to keep secrets from his wife.

Therefore, ifPierrewas a Disney character, he would be Zazu from The Lion King, as they both attempt to control their kingdoms and are bossy and stern. They take their jobs seriously and can be annoying at times, but overall, they are okay guys who help their “kingdoms” run smoothly.

5Elliot - Prince Naveen

The Self-Centered Princes

Elliottis gorgeous and a bit self-centered, so the obvious choice for his Disney counterpart is Prince Naveen from Princess and the Frog. They are like two peas in a pod, both a bit vain, absolutely beautiful, and huge romantics.

Both of these characters work to live their life to the fullest, though in slightly different ways, asElliottmoves into a shack at the beach to pursue his dream of writing, while Naveen is a fun-loving partier who spends his time with beautiful women. Lastly, in the end, both characters are wildly devoted to their love interests.

4Sam - Max Goof

The Skater Boys

Sam is one of the sweetest characters in Stardew Valley. He loves to hang with his friends, skateboard, and eventually turns his passion for music into a job when he makes music for a kid’s TV show.

Max Goof and Sam are interchangeable; they are calm, a little too cool, and just the right amount of dorky. They rebel a bit, but not an extreme amount and, of course, they both have a love formusic and skateboarding.

3Sandy - Ursula

Isolated Beauties

This list wouldn’t be complete without villains, andSandy’scounterpart is Ursula. Their image alone is very alike, including swirling outfits and hair, and they are both loud, boisterous, and fun.

One of the main connections between these two characters is their isolation; Ursula was kicked out of her kingdom for choosing a tentacled form and grew up alone. Sandy often discusses how secluded and lonely thedesertis, so yes, they have different terrains, but at their core, these characters have the same troubles.

2Abigail- Merida

The Brave Tomboys

Abigailand Merida are both really cool characters, and they are willing to face anything, and fight anything. Both of these characters are unruly tomboys and free spirits.

These characters also have complicated relationships with their mothers; of course their mothers care about them, but they get frustrated with their daughters' hobbies. Throughout the game and movie, the mother-daughter relationship and growth is a central plot point.

1Sebastian - Aladdin

The Handsome Rebels

Sebastianand Aladdin are the rebels of their worlds, as they both feel lonely and are struggling to figure out who they are. Despite this, underneath their aloof personas, they are both sweet, caring, dedicated people.

Each of these crush-worthy characters has a unique mode of transportation; Sebastian has his motorcycle, and Aladdin has his magic carpet. And of course, they both use these modes of transportation to whisk themselves away on adventures.
