It’s not uncommon to start a gacha game likeWuthering Wavesand find yourself playing as a main character who lost all their memories but is one of the most powerful beings in the world. After the initial dialogue in the main story, you’ll permanently unlock this character on your account, and they’re called Rover.
Initially, Rover will be able to use the Spectro element, allowing you to deal various types of Spectro DMG to the enemies. However, you’ll need to use specific gear on them if you want to make this damage worth looking at.
Best Spectro Rover Weapons
As you progress in Wuthering Waves, you’ll have many ways to get various weapons of different types. However,you can only equip the sword-type weapons on Rover. Moreover, not all of them will suit their play style, so here’s what you should look for:
Emerald Of Genesis
You can get this weapon by choosing it in the free five-star selector orpulling on the permanent weapon banner. It gives you some Energy Regen while also increasing your ATK upon the use of Resonance Skill.
Commando Of Conviction
This is a simple four-star sword that gives you someATK boost whenever you use Rover’s Intro Skill. This attack boost lasts for 15 seconds at Rank One Syntonize.
Lumingloss
This is the best in slot four-star weapon for Spectro Rover as it increases herBasic and Heavy attack DMG whenever her Skill is used. Spectro Rover’s short skill cooldown makes this effect easy to acquire.
Sword Of Night
Finally, if you’re building Spectro Rover during the early game, Sword of Night cangive you a decent ATK boost upon the use of intro skillas well.
Spectro Rover Echo Guide
After getting an echo and placing it in Spectro Rover’s echo main slot, you can use their special abilities during battle. Thebest echo you can find for this job is Mourning Aix. Not only does it deal AoE damage to the enemies, but also increases Rover’s Resonance Liberation and Spectro DMG.
Other than the main echo, you have four other slots here. You can place echoes from specific sets on this one to get some bonuses, andthese are the best ones for Spectro Rover’s build:
Celestial Light
Having five pieces of this set will giveRover an increased Spectro DMG, which increases even further after your Intro Skill.
Two-Piece Celestial Light And Lingering Tunes
During the early game, you can use two pieces of both these statssince the singular echo stats are more important.
Echo Stat Priority
Every echo in Wuthering Waves has two main stats and a bunch of sub-stats. To get the extra sub-stats,you first have to upgrade the echoes and then tune them. It’s not worth upgrading or tuning echoes below purple rarity. However, once you reach the point in the game where you start getting purples and gold, here are the stats you should look for:

ATK Percent
Apart from the main stats, you should look forCrit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK Percent, Basic Attack DMG Bonus, Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, and Resonance Liberation DMG Bonuson your sub-stats.
Best Team Members For Spectro Rover
After getting a full build on Spectro Rover including the weapon and the echoes, you now have to findteammates that synergizewith them the most in battle. Thankfully, you can fight quite a few of these in the game:
Verina
Verina is currently the best buffer in Wuthering Waves as she increases Rover’s all-type DMG, deals some off-field damage, and heals the party.
Baizhi
Baizhi is essentially afour-star Verinawho can do everything mentioned above except the off-field damage.
Yangyang
Yangyang is great for regenerating an ally’s energy wheneveryou use her Outro Skill to switch to Rover. This will help you get your Resonance Liberation much faster.
While you’re able to find some other decent team members for Spectro Rover,most of them only buff one type of her damage.
However, you have to buff most of Rover’s skills if you want to get good value out of them.
Spectro Rover Forte Priority
The reason for Rover to be an amazing unit to invest in is that they’llprobably get new kits with other elements at some point. Whenever Rover gets a new element, you don’t have to upgrade them again. However, you do have to upgrade their forte/skills. This makes it important to manage your resources properly in these.
Spectro Rover’s Basic Attack forte is your best bet sinceyou’ll be getting most of the damage from their Basic and Heavy attacks. You can follow this up by upgrading their Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation in any order, ending with the Intro Skill.
You won’t use Spectro Rover’s Resonance Skill most of the time, soyou can ignore that past level five or six.
It’s also important to unlock their Inherent Skills whenever you can.
