Whether you are playing alone, with a few friends, or with a large group of strangers,V Risingis a thrilling experience. If you are trying to set up a single-player server though, you may be unsure of what settings to use. Thankfully, we’ve got you covered.

Here, we are going to go over the best settings to use while playing V Rising solo. This will cover basic settings, as well as advanced setting options that change things such as loot and spell power. It’s important to note that it’s possible to just make a private world and start without tweaking anything; the game will still be fun!

Solo Play Game Mode Option

If you want to play alone, choose the’Private Game' optionwhen on the ‘Select Game Mode’ screen. This will allow you tohost your own world, with the option to invite a few friends.

This is not a large-scale server, and it will only be active when you are online. This means thatif you do want to play with friends, then they can only be on the server if you are too.

Game Difficulty

There are three default difficulties for you to choose from;relaxed, normal, and brutal. If you are brand new to the survival genre or want to have a morelaid-back experience, choose ‘Relaxed’.If, on the other hand, you are aveteran and want a challenge, choose ‘Brutal’.For those looking for aregular experiencethat’s not too hard or too easy, select’Normal'.

Advanced Setting Options

There are five tabs in the advanced settings menu; let’s take a look at each one below.

Game Setting

This tab allows you to tweak player size and general settings. If you plan to play alone (with no possibility of others ever joining),tick the box that says ‘Only Solo Play’.The concurrent players, clan size, chat, and loot dead player options aren’t relevant to playing alone,so you don’t need to adjust these.

Within the ‘Items’ section, you can decide if you want certain items to prevent teleportation. When this box(Teleport Bound Items)is ticked, some materials willprevent you from using a teleporter. When this happens, you will either need to drop them or run home. If you want to cut out the travel time in V Rising, un-tick this box.

This alsoapplies to ‘Bat Bound Items’.If you don’t want certain items to prevent you from becoming a bat, un-tick the box.

The rest of the settings on this tab don’t need to be tweaked to create an ideal solo server.

v rising items settings

Items

The ‘Items’ tab deals withdropped loot, equipment, and purchased goods. The first section allows you to increase the loot you’re able to get. By default, these will all be set to one, but if you want more loot, you can increase it. For solo play, we suggest increasing the following settings.

Next, you can see the ‘Equipment’ and ‘Traders’ panels. These can stay at the default setting of one, butto make the game a bit easier, you can increase any of the options. For example, you can increase your Physical Power Multiplier and Spell Power Multiplier to increase your damage output.

v rising pvp settings

We recommend doing this if you aren’t too confident with your fighting abilities. With more power, you cantake on powerful bosses solo.

PvP

Nothing in this tab needs to be touched! Since you are playing alone, there is no PvP.

Building

The ‘Building’ tab covers theconstruction of your castle, as well as crafting settings.Again, these stats don’t need to be changed, but for solo play, you may tweak the following options.

If you wantcrafting and building to cost less materials, you can alsodecreasethe multipliers for these options. This is helpful in solo play, as there is only one of you to gather materials.

Progression

The ‘Progression’ tab determines what you start the game with, and what level you will be. For thefull leveling and crafting experience, you can keep this at ‘None’, ‘None’, and ‘0’,but if you want to ease your start, then it’s possible to increase each setting.

These stats completely depend on the experience that you want. We recommend not tweaking these, especially if you have never played V Rising. With access to high-level gear, you may miss out on the classic farming experience.

What Is The Ruleset?

All of the settings that you have just pickedmake up the ruleset. This is essentially the settings that you choose to make aunique set of rules for the game.you’re able to save the solo play ruleset that you just made, as well as load premade ones.

None of the premade rulesets are custom-tailored to solo play,so you don’t have to worry about choosing one of these.
