Summary
Throughout its history,The Sims hasalways been an inclusive series. The first game was one of the few video games of its timeto feature gay romance options, while The Sims 4 let you create trans and gender-non-conforming characters long before most other triple-A games did.
The base game has a decent amount of LGBTQ-pride clothing and furniture for your Sims, but it’s all fairly basic. If you want to celebrate the queer community all year long, you’ll probably want to load up on the custom content. The entries on this list are a great way to get started.

1True Colors Flagpole
The base game contains several pride flags for you to put on your wall, but flagpoles are sadly absent. This custom content introduces a simple wall-mounted flagpole for your Sims to hang a variety of different flags from, for those of you who don’t want to lay them flat on a surface.
It’s not the fanciest thing ever, but this flag is a simple, versatile Maxis-match piece that isn’t demanding on computer resources. The creator even includes the necessary files to make your own recolors, allowing you to add in any flags you want that aren’t included in the original download.

2Pride Plumbob
It’s possible to change the appearance of the plumbob that hangs over your sims, even if the majority of players don’t do this. If you’d like to give it a try, there are a variety of different mods available that can replace your bland, green doohickey with all sorts of stuff.
This mod lets youcelebrate Pride Monthwith a touch of whimsy by giving you a rainbow-hued plumbob. It’s somewhat reminiscent of brands changing their profile pictures to a rainbow version of their logo, but this mod actually has some actual heart and soul behind it. Just note that this mod will conflict with any other cosmetic plumbob mods.

3Fly Your Colors High Recolor
When The Sims 4 released a free update with various pride gear, their original flags boasted a fairly basic set of swatches. It’s great for most cases, but there are dozens of pride flags out there. Luckily, the community has stepped up to ensure they’re all included in various custom content creations.
This flag set is a recolor of a base game item, adding more flags for a truly expansive list of swatches. The creator also tweaked the visuals on the original flags a little, improving the shading and making them pop with more saturated color. Now you can fly your colors high no matter what they are.

4Pride Blouse
It’s tough to find pride-themed clothing that isn’t yet another recolor of the base game T-shirts. However, this blouse by Jaq is an adorable piece of Maxis-match clothing that can be coordinated with a variety of different bottoms and accessories. If you want a more polished look for your Sims' pride outfits, this is for you.
This blouse is intended for femme-presenting Sims aged from young adult to elder and comes in fifteen different swatches. Each swatch displays the color scheme of a different pride flag on the blouse’s tie and lapel. You’ll need Get Together for this shirt to appear correctly in your game, but that doesn’t detract from how adorable it is.

5Pride Face Paint
There’s plenty of custom makeup on the internet that vaguely follows the color schemes of different pride flags. However, there isn’t much in the way of simple, straightforward face paint. Maybe your Sim doesn’t want to get glammed up but instead just wants to attend the nearest pride event while wearing a fun and casual look.
Fear not; your Sims won’t spend the pride parade with their faces unadorned. These face paints can be found, appropriately enough, in the face paint section of CAS. There are eight different flags included, and you have the option of placing them on one or both of your Sims' cheeks.

6Pride Wallpaper Set
It’s not currently possible to have every piece of custom content in your mods folder be pride-themed, but you can get pretty close. This set of wallpapers by bellasims can help you on your journey by making it easier to coordinate different rooms based on whatever pride flags you want.
There are two basic patterns here: a simple geometric design that’s somewhat reminiscent of jellybeans and a starry pattern with a black backdrop. Both of these have several swatches each, which are based on an assortment of different pride flags. The effect is subtle but can be mixed with other pride-themed decor.

7Pride Effect Doors
The base game’s “Rainbow Effect” door is a great way to add some delightfully gay vibes into your space, but only one swatch can be interpreted as pride-themed. This recolor corrects that deficiency by adding more swatches, all of them themed after a different pride flag.
If you want to coordinate these doors with official EA content, they’re similar enough to the paneled wooden doors from the base game. They’re great for sprucing up any home, but you can also add them to libraries, cafes, community centers, and other public lots that need a cheerful atmosphere.
8Rainbow Desserts
Plenty of folks celebrate Pride Month by baking rainbow-themed sweet treats, but the official EA recipes are somewhat lacking in this regard. While The Sims 4 has a huge modding community, the list of creators whomake custom foodis much smaller due to the complexities involved in creating recipes.
That being said, Brazen Lotus is one of the most prolific custom food creators out there. Their June 2024 creations include cupcakes, cookies, and two different rainbow-themed layer cakes for your Sims to devour. If your Sims own a cafe or bakery, you could also have them sell these treats to their neighbors.
9Pride Themed Cakes
You can never have enough pride-themed treats for your Sims to bake for their homes and businesses. Like Brazen Lotus, Robin is another creator who’s been steadily churning out custom recipes for your Sims to create. Over the years, they’ve made several custom cakes themed after different pride flags.
On the outside, you’ll see a simple frosted cake that follows the color scheme of its respective pride flag, but doesn’t really have anything else going for it. Cut one of these babies open, however, and you’ll see that the cross-section reveals a beautiful recreation of one of several different flags.
10Yeehaww Sims' Pride Collection
It’s hard to find quality pride clothing for your Sims. Many creators just slap a rainbow texture on a T-shirt and call it a day. And while there’s nothing wrong with giving your Sims rainbow T-shirts and other casual wear, they deserve casual wear doneright. Yeehaww Sims' pride collection, thankfully, does everything perfectly.
If there’s one thing that makes this set of pride clothing stand out above the rest, it’s the sheer amount of customization it brings to the table. Each item in the set has 150 watches, which can be overwhelming. However, the creator fully encourages you to remove swatches you know you’re not going to use if you have Sims 4 Studio.
