If you want to get a specific limited character inWuthering Waves, you have to pull on the event banners using the gacha currency, which is quite difficult to build up. The game’s also releasing cool characters one after another, but if you’re an F2P or low-spending player, you likely can’t get them all.
You have to choose between these characters, and Jinhsi was added to the choices during the first half of the Version 1.1 update. She’s a five-star Spectro unit with the Broadblade as her weapon type. Once you build her properly, you’ll have a satisfying time while using her.
Best Jinhsi Weapons
After successfully getting Jinhsi on your account, the next step is to find the correct weapon for her. Unfortunately, Wuthering Wavesdoesn’t have a lot of good choices of weapons for F2P players, but here’s what you’re able to use:

Of course, Jinhsi’s signature weapon will give you the most value for her as it not only gives you 12 percent DMG by default, but alsoincreases your Resonance Skill DMG by up to a whopping 48 percent.

While this weapon might not give you any Crit, it does increase yourLiberation DMG by up to 21 percentonce you release three Resonance Skills, which is quite fast for Jinhsi.

This weapon can easily compete with Lustrous Razor, and it can even bebetter than the former in some cases because of the Crit DMGprovided. However, the Heavy Attack DMG boost isn’t of much use to Jinhsi.

Autumntrace
If you’re looking at four-star options, one of your best choices will be the battle pass weapon as itgives you ATK for using your Basic and Heavy attacks. It also provides you with a decent bit of Crit Rate.

Broadblade Of Night
Finally, if you don’t have any of the above options, you can use this Broadblade toget a decent bit of ATKwhenever you use your Intro Skill.
Jinhsi Echo Guide
While it’s highly important to upgrade and get a good weapon while you build Jinhsi,you’ll get some hefty boosts with your echoes as well. The former takes priority since these boosts are given to your base stats, which are higher with your level. However, once you do that, you have to think of a synergistic echo set.
Unfortunately, Jinhsionly has one choice when it comes to this: Celestial Light. This set already gives her a 10 percent Spectro DMG bonus once you have five pieces from it, butyou can get an extra 30 percent after using her Intro Skill. This is one of the main parts of her kit, so it works out perfectly.
Best Primary Echoes For Jinhsi
When you’re on Jinhsi’s echo screen, you’llsee five echo slotswith one of them being larger than the rest. This slot is used for the primary echo, andyou can use the primary echo’s special skill during the battle. It’s highly important to choose the correct one for Jinhsi, and here are your best choices:
Jue
When you use Jue’s ability, it deals some Spectro DMG in a large area and gives a special effect to your Resonance Skill. When you use this Skill and hit the enemy,Jue deals extra damage to these enemiesat regular intervals for quite some time.
Another good thing about this echo is that it’s a summon and not a conversion of your Jinhsi into Jue,which lets her move around and prevent damage.
Mourning Aix
Using this echo’s ability will turn you into Mourning Aix for a short period and deal some damage to the surrounding enemies. However, the main effect is the Aix increasingJinhsi’s Spectro and Liberation DMG even further.
Both of the echoes mentioned above are phenomenal on Jinhsi, soyou can choose either onebased on your play style.
Jinhsi Echo Stat Priority
Finally, here are the best stats to have on each echo while building Jinhsi:
Common (Cost 1)
ATK Percent
The main stat for your Cost Four echo highly depends on the weapon you’re using andthe Crit Ratio you have on the build.
You’d wantat least 60 percent, ideally 70 percent, Crit Rateon Jinhsi, so that will be your main stat in most cases.
Apart from the main stats, you should be looking forCrit Rate/DMG > Resonance Skill DMG Bonus > Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus > ATK Percenton your sub stats. You can also get a bit of Energy Regen, but it’s not necessary at all. Moreover, the best Echo cost combination to use withJinhsi is four - three - three - two - one.
Both the Cost Three echoes will be Spectro DMG Bonus, especially if you’reusing a weapon with ATK percent as main stat.
Best Jinhsi Team Compositions
Unfortunately, if you want the best team composition for Jinhsi, it’ll involve another limited five-star along with a standard five-star. Thankfully,you also have a decent F2P-friendly team option.
Jinhsi
Main DPS
Jinhsi’s main role in most of the team will always bethe on-field DPSasshe takes a long time on the fieldto deal some significant damage. You’d commonly want to switch to her with an Intro Skill in this team.
Yinlin
Coordinated Attacks
Jinhsi has some special forte abilities (discussed below) that benefit from characters who can perform coordinated attacks. There’shardly any better character do to that than Yinlinin the game.
Verina/Baizhi
Buffer/Healer
Finally, Verina is usually the best support unit for Wuthering Waves' teams as she not only heals your character, butalso gives them an overall boost with her Outro Skill.
Same as the last team, Jinhsi will be the character you’ll use on the field most of the time.
Mortefi
Mortefi can also launch some coordinated attacks with his Resonance Liberation, so you’llneed as high Energy Regen as possibleon this character if you want to use this team.
Taoqi
Buffer/Sustainer
Finally, Taoqi can reduce the damage taken by her team while alsoincreasing Jinhsi’s Skill DMG with her Outro Skill, making it a decent combination.
Jinhsi Forte Overview And Priority
While you’re trying to build Jinhsi, the hardest part will arguably beunderstanding how her forte/abilities worksince character kits in Wuthering Waves are quite intricate. Not to worry though, here’s a simple explanation of her skills:
Slash of Breaking Dawn
Normal Attacks
Jinhsi can perform up tofour consecutive attacks as Basic Attackswhile also doing the general Heavy, mid-air attacks, and dodge counter.
Trailing Lights of Eons
Resonance Skill
Dashes forward and deals abunch of instances of Spectro DMGto the enemies.
Overflowing Radiance
After performing your fourth Basic Attack or Intro Skill when you’re not in Incarnation, you get thisspecial Skill that puts you into Incarnation.
Incarnation
Forte Circuit
Lets Jinhsi stay in the air and replaces all types of her attacks. Her Basic Attacks in Incarnation areconsidered as Resonance Skill DMG, and thus get buffed from that type of DMG bonus.
Illuminous Epiphany
This skill becomes available after the fourth Basic Attack in the Incarnation state and is the main damage source for Jinhsi. Itsummons Jue to deal a ton of AoE damage.
Jinhsi also gains theUnison effect after casting this skill, but this can only happen once every 25 seconds. Moreover, the damage of this ability gets buffed based on your Incandescence.
Unison
When Jinhsi has this effect, it’s essentially considered as her Concerto Energy being full asshe can use her Outro Skilland also trigger the next character’s Intro Skill.
When you switch out from Jinhsi,Unison is prioritized to trigger her Outro Skillover the Concerto Energy.
Incandescence
This is the main ability that you see in the Forte bar on Jinhsi. It can hold up to 60 stacks, and you get a stack whenever anattribute type deals damage or triggers coordinated attacks.
The stacks you may from attribute damage and coordinated attacks are separate, witheach having a three-second cooldown. Moreover, this cooldown is for each attribute, which means that you can havemultiple stacks with different attribute damagesor coordinated attacks.

Loong’s Halo
Intro Skill
Jinhsi takes the field and deals Spectro DMG. This ability also instantlylets her trigger the Overflowing Radianceskill.
Temporal Bender
Outro Skill
Increases the Incandescencestacks you get from the same attribute typeby one for each trigger for 20 seconds.
Once you understand Jinhsi’s kit and play as her for a bit, you’ll quickly understand thatmost of her damage comes from the Resonance Skill, followed by her Resonance Liberation, making these the priority for forte upgrades. After that, you can upgrade her Intro Skill and then the Resonance Skill.
You don’t have to upgrade Jinhsi’s Normal Attacks asyou wouldn’t want to use them in an ideal scenario. If your rotations are correct, you’llalways trigger the Incarnation state with your Intro Skilland not the Basic Attacks.
