There are multiple ways to obtain Fish Tanks inStardew Valley. You can buy some from Willy, including theSmall Fish Tank, theLarge Fish Tank, and theDeluxe Fish Tank. Since these fish are so rare, you should put some of them in the fish tank in the Community Center so that the entire town can see them.

Stingraysare the perfect addition to any fish tank; they’re shy fish who swim back and forth, and their fins lift as they move in their tank. Since these fish prefer to avoid humans, it’s best to keep Stingrays in a more secluded tank, such as one in your Greenhouse or Farmhouse.

You can find the Octopus in the Ocean or Ginger Island anytime from 6 am - 1 pm during the summer, or during the Night Market in the Winter. Octopus is one of the harder fish to catch, with a difficulty of 95, so ensure to stack up on lures and Seafoam Pudding.
3Pufferfish

Pufferfishare a great addition to your tanks; they float around, but since they’re puffy, they take up more space than other fish. The expression on their faces is almost one of surprise, which is fun to watch.
You can get a Pufferfish in the Ocean or on Ginger Island from 12 pm - 4 pm in the Summer when it’s sunny out. That isn’t a large window, so make sure to dedicate some time to catching these little guys!
2Blobfish

TheBlobfishgives you a new angle when you place it in your tank: a side profile. This is one of the few fish where they look very different in the tank than when you catch them.
Blobfish are only available in the Winter at the Night Market. They have a difficulty of 75, so a Blobfish hunt will be more successful the higher your fishing level is.

Create a Desert-themed Tank by plopping in bothSandfishand Scorpion Carp. The Sandfish sinks to the bottom, blending in with the sand within your tank, and the Scorpion Carp floats around, its red fins standing out in the tank.
Both of these fish can be found in the Desert Pond during all seasons and in any weather. The Scorpion Carp is much harder to catch with a difficulty level of 90, but both fish are relatively easy to obtain.
