When you progress even just a bit inWuthering Waves, you’ll quickly realize just how humongous this world is. There is a plethora of different regions and environments to explore, alongside a variety of characters that you can use. This keeps the game fresh and allows you to find your comfort unit.
Encore is astandard five-star characterwho deals Fusion-type damage. With the right Rectifier and echoes in hand, she can deal some consistent DPS on the enemies, and here’s everything you’ll need to build her up.
Best Encore Weapons
Once you acquire Encore on your account, you havequite a variety of weaponsthat you can use on her:
Cosmic Ripples
This weapon makes it easier for you to get her Resonance Liberation whilealso increasing her Basic Attack DMG and ATK. She deals the most damage during her Liberation, so this fits her perfectly.
Augment
After using Resonance Liberation, thisRectifier gives you an extra 15 percent ATK. Other than that, you’re able to also get some Crit Rate as you level it up.
Jinzhou Keeper
If you enter the battlefield by using Encore’s Intro Skill, this weapon gives her a slight ATK and HP boost. However, it gives alot more value once you syntonize it a couple of times.
Guardian Rectifier
Finally, you can use the maximum syntonized version of this weapon if you don’t have any other ones mentioned above. It gives her adirect Basic and Heavy attack DMG boost.
Encore Echo Guide
For every character you build in Wuthering Waves, especially DPS units, you’llhave to figure out the best main echo and sets for them. Unfortunately, Encore doesn’t have a lot of choices in that regard, since there’s only one of each that suits her play style the most.
You’ll have to get the Molten Rift echo setalong with Inferno Rider as the main echo for her. During the early game, you’re able to go for a two-piece Molten Rift and two-piece Lingering Tunes, but it’s recommended to switch as soon as possible.
Best Team Members For Encore

Verina/Baizhi
These characters are staple supports for every DPS unit in the game as they providemassive buffs with some consistent healing.
Taoqi
Apart from giving her team a bit of sustainability, Taoqi can also provide Encorewith some Resonance Skill DMG, which already deals a ton of damage base kit.
Mortefi
If you’re having fun with Encore’s special heavy attack once your Mayhem bar is used, you can use Mortefi with her toget some extra Heavy Attack DMG.
Yangyang
Finally, if you want to get Encore’s Liberation back as soon as possible, especiallyif you’re using Cosmic Ripples or Augment, Yangyang will be the perfect teammate.
Encore Forte Priority
Being a main DPS character, you’ll need quite a few resources when it comes to upgrading Encore’s forte. While there is a priority to her abilities,you’ll have to upgrade all of them at the end of the day. However, you can start with her Resonance Liberation as this is when she gets all her buffed abilities.
Follow this up with her Forte Circuit, Resonance Skill, and Basic Attack. Finally, you canupgrade her Intro Skill whenever you get some extra resources. ensure you unlock her stat nodes and Inherent Skill as soon as possible.
