If you’ve played a story-based gacha game before, you might be already used to having that one character who’s introduced at the start, and their only job is to bring some life into every dialogue. ForWuthering Waves, that character happens to be Chixia, who’s also the second playable character you’ll get for free.
Chixia is a four-star Pistol user dealing the Fusion damage type, which brings her into competition with Mortefi. While she can’t be nearly as good of a support as him, you may still build her as a main DPS and beat all the endgame content.
Best Chixia Weapons
Apart from being F2P-friendly, another good thing about Chixia is thenumber of choices she has when it comes to weapons. While none of these weapons complement her kit fully, they can still be used to buff different parts of it:
Static Mist
This gun isn’t the best on Chixia, but its high stats due to being a five-star make it worth it. It can give her some Energy Regen while alsoincreasing the ATK of the resonator she switches towith her Outro Skill.
Novaburst
This weapon is by far the best you can get on Chixia as it gives her a ton of ATK boost, which buffs her overall damage. Allshe has to do is dash a ton of timesto trigger the boosts.
Thunderbolt
Whenever you hit an enemy with a normal attack, Chixiagains some Resonance Skill DMG, which is one of her main sources of damage.
Undying Flame
This is another weapon that can increase Chixia’s Skill DMG after you use her Intro Skill. This buff lasts for quite a while, andChixia’s quick cooldownallows you to make good use of it.
Pistols Of Night
Finally, this weapon can give you an overallATK boost whenever you use her Intro Skill, but you should only use it if you don’t have any other weapon mentioned above.
Chixia Echo Guide
The most fun aspect of building any character, including Chixia, in Wuthering Waves isfarming for their echoes. She has acouple of choices for the main sets and echoesthat you can use:
Molten Rift
Inferno Rider
This set gives Chixia a ton of Fusion DMG Bonus, and Inferno Rider also deals a ton of damage from its attacks,making it the best in slot for this explosive unit.
Lingering Tunes
Mech Abomination
On the other hand, if you want to go for an ATK buffing approach, Lingering Tunes can also work for her, but you should only use it if you’re getting way higher general stats.
Echo Stat Priority
Molten Rift will always be the best choice for Chixia unless you manage toget way better stats on Lingering Tunes, giving her higher buffs. Here are the stats you should look for:
Crit Rate > Crit DMG
Elite (Cost 3)
Fusion DMG Bonus (use two of these if you’re going with Lingering Tunes)
Common (Cost 1)
ATK Percent
As for the sub-stats, you should be looking for Basic Attack DMG and Resonance Skill DMG for Chixia. However, Resonance Liberation DMG and Energy Regencan be a bonus apart from the priority on Crit.
Best Team Members For Chixia
Chixiadoesn’t have a lot of team membersthat she perfectly synergizes with, but these characters can be used to buff different parts of her kit:
Verina/Baizhi
As you might already know,these characters aregreatwith almost every unitin the game because of their buffs and healing.
Taoqi
Taoqi can buff Chixia’s Skill DMG using her Outro Skill, which isgreat for increasing her main damage source.
Sanhua
While her Skill deals the most damage, you’ll still see some of the highest numbers with her Basic Attack. These numbers can bebuffed using Sanhua’s Outro Skill.
Chixia Forte Priority
Working on Chixia’s abilities, while still resource-intensive, is quite straightforward. Most of her damagecomes from her Resonance Skill, Basic Attacks, and Forte Circuit, giving these three the priority for upgrades. It’s recommended to upgrade the Circuit first since this is the main part of her kit.
After that, you can upgrade her Liberation and Intro Skill whenever possible, while getting all thestat nodes and Inherent Skills as fast as you can.
