With their most successful season in two decades behind them, the future looks encouraging for the Minnesota Twins. Even with the torrent of young prospect and respected veterans, their most well-known play remains center fielder and Twin’s mainstay Byron Buxton.
In real life, Buxton is known for his susceptibility to injury, but when he is healthy, there are few players more productive in all of MLB. Buxton is a menace both on the base paths and the plate with remarkable power and speed; Buxton’s also an excellent defender, well deserving of an 84 overall.
7Cody Bellinger

When Cody Bellinger signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Cubs before the 2023 season, it was a low-risk high-reward move for a player seemingly past their prime thanks to injury and inconsistent play. Few could’ve foreseen just how great Bellinger would be for Chicago’s team.
Bellinger’s 88 overall makes him the highest-rated Chicago Cub in MLB The Show 24. Bellinger is a blend of strong hitting and even better fielding, and since he’s returning to the Cubs for the 2024 season, many are excited to see if the former MVP can keep his momentum going.

To say the Chicago White Sox rebuild failed is an understatement; after a mere two years of contention, the wheels completely fell off for Chicago’s second most famous baseball team. Even with most of their prospects turning out to be duds, there was one diamond in the rough.

Arguably, the single best base runner in baseball, Arizona Diamondbacks’ Corbin Caroll was an instrumental piece of their unexpected 2023 postseason run. Even though they fell to the Texas Rangers in the World Series, there’s reason to be optimistic about the Diamondbacks and their star player.
Corbin’s 91 overall is impressive for any rookie, but what’s even more extraordinary is him having a 99 overall in all baserunning categories. So as long as you get Caroll on base in MLB The Show 24, you have free rein to run wild and steal bases to your heart’s content.

It’s been a long time since the Seattle Mariners fans had hope. But after breaking their two-decade-long playoff drought in 2022, many believe that this crop of young players will bring Seattle to even greater glory in the not-to-distant future.
At the head of that movement is twenty-three-year-old center fielder Julio Rodriguez, who has already proved himself as the future of Mariner’s baseball. At a 93 overall in MLB The Show 24, Rodriguez exhibits exemplary hitting metrics along with outstanding baserunning and superior defense. Again, he’s only twenty-three.
2Aaron Judge

The New York Yankees finished the 2023 MLB season with an 82-80 record, their worst record since 1992. There are many places where the finger of blame can point to the Yankees missing out on the October dance, but one spot that can’t be blamed is center field.
Aaron Judge has become the captain of the Yankees after signing a huge contract in the 2023 offseason, and few playershit the ball as hard and as faras the Yankee’s center fielder. Of course, the greatest player of this generation of MLB is rated at a 99 overall. Los Angeles Angels centerfielder Mike Trout deserves nothing less than the absolute highest rating possible. While his lack of postseason success has earned him wrongful criticism, that has done little to hurt Trout’s legacy.
