Summary
Death Must Dieis an action roguelite that plays out a little like Vampire Survivor by way of Hades. As one of five Heroes, you must fight off hordes of minions to make your way further into a renegade Death’s realm.
You’ll have a pantheon of Gods, bestowing upon you their Blessings, granting you power as you mow down waves of enemies. Though all the Blessings are powerful or useful in their own ways, it’s undeniable that some just stand above the rest. Here are the best Blessings in Death Must Die.

As of this writing, Death Must Die is currently in Early Access. This information may no longer be accurate when the game is released or on the next update.
7Warped Attack
Warped Attack’s effects vary depending on which heroes you grant it to, but is all-around useful. On melee heroes, it grants bonus attack power and knocks bonus EXP from enemies, which is always good since it means more level-ups, and more level-ups mean more power.
However, this ability truly pops off on the ranged Heroes, especially Lorien. In addition to the above effects, this Blessing also makes attacks bounce between enemies, not only giving single-target attacks multi-target potential but compounding damage as well.

6Fury
Regardless of which hero you use, a lot of their damage comes from their attack; whether directly hitting with their attack, having an Attack Blessing, or procs from Strike Blessings, most damage is rooted in attacking. Theoretically, you get more attack speed from Krom’s Bloodlust Blessing, but that requires you to build around it, while Fury can just be popped into any build.
That’s why Fury is such a great Blessing; despite its simplicity, as it increases your attack speed with no frills and no conditions, you just attack faster. More attacks are already a strong effect, especially when you consider all that comes with it.

5Force
Force increases your Shard Pull Radius significantly and causes shards that travel through enemies to damage them for an amount depending on how much EXP was in the shard, but of the two effects, the former is the more important one. Shard Pull is an underrated stat because it does no damage, but pulling shards from a distance means that you don’t have to travel as much to pick them up, which means you’re not stuck in a small area picking up after kills.
In turn, this means you’re more free to explore the map and look for shrines, chests, and other sources of power and wealth. Though melee heroes receive some benefit from this Blessing, it’s almost necessary for ranged heroes since they tend to do their killing from a distance, which means that without sufficient Shard Pull, they have to go and clean up shards afterward.

4War Pact
Another simple but effective Blessing, War Pact increases your damage against enemies with Barriers and Bosses. While this doesn’t apply against all enemies, it’s still quite useful since the most annoying enemies tend to be the ones with Barriers, which make them harder to kill.
Of course, bosses are already tough, so more damage against them is always good, especially since the longer they stay alive, the tougher your run gets as enemies will continue to swarm you while you’re engaged with the boss.

3God of War
Legendary perks are difficult to get in Death Must Die, and suitably powerful as a result; as such, you should always grab them when you see them. However, of the ones you can get,God of Waris arguably the best.
This perk doubles your damage output and then some, at a comparatively paltry 22% increase to the damage you take. It’s a small price to pay when you go from enemies taking two or three hits to mowing down waves in one strike and chunking down bosses with efficiency.

2Tornadoes
Strike Blessings are quite strong in Death Must Die, and Tornadoes are probably the strongest non-Legendary Strike in the game. When it procs, it sends out three Tornadoes that travel randomly around the screen, damaging and dragging enemies.
It’s not even mitigated by a low proc chance, and it also does some pretty massive damage against waves of enemies (especially when compared to the other Strikes), and only needs a few upgrades. If you see this at Adept rarity or higher, grab it, level it, and never worry about crowds again.

1Alteration Ritual
Though it’s chaotic anda little luck-dependent, the potential power that Alteration Ritual can grant makes it a must-grab, especially early on; this Blessing grants you a random temporary Blessing when you level up, lasting longer the higher its level and rarity. While a burst of temporary power might not seem worth it, it’s important to remember that you’re able to get any Blessing, whether you’d normally be able to take it or not.
A lucky combination of blessings means that you could be mowing down hordes of enemies and destroying elites, which leads to quicker level-ups, which lead to more bonus Blessings, leading to a knock-on effect that could lead to a murderous critical mass. Plus, with some levels invested in it, the duration of the bonus Blessings isn’t even restrictive and you can further drive this Blessing to new heights with Spell Duration-boosting items.
