In the vast world ofBaldur’s Gate 3, you will encounter violent battles and tumu ltuous landscapes that require stronger armor. When choosing armor for your character, it’s important to remember the class proficiency and your personal play style.Playing as a druid, such as Halsin or Jaheira, you will find various items created with that particular class in mind.
With a proficiency for light and medium armor and a knack for spell casting, druids have various options for playing to their strengths. Here is some of the best armor for druids in Baldur’s Gate 3.

10The Oak Father’s Embrace
The Oak Father’s Embrace is found early in Act 1 in the Owlbear nest. This is an uncommon, medium armor that deals radiant damage to foes violating the natural order, including the wearer. When you have it equipped, undead creatures who harm you are damaged in return.
While often associated with clerics, druids benefit from this particular armor as well. As you encounter skeletons and other undead foes, your druid will correct the unnatural life force, a great addition to your character’s oneness with the natural world. It also matches the druid aesthetic.

9Spidersilk Armour
Spidersilk Armour is one of the best options for your druid during Act 1. Built to help the wearer survive in the Underdark, this light armor provides a +1 bonus to Stealth Checks and an advantage on Constitution saving throws.
After getting this armor from Minthara, your druid can sneak a little more safely to either attack or avoid enemies. Covered in traces of black spiderwebs, the drow armor is a great addition to your druid’s arsenal.

You can either loot or recruit Minthara to get this armor, depending on your preference.
8Hedge Wanderer Armour
Hedge Wanderer Armour is an uncommon, medium armor found in Act 1. This simple, enchanted item provides a +1 bonus to Dexterity savings throws and +1 for Nature.
While there are later game armors with bigger bonuses, Hedge Wanderer Armour is a great option early in the game to give your druid a simple AC upgrade.

7Barkskin Armour
Barkskin Armour is one of the best armor options in Act 2. Similar in appearance to the Hedge Wanderer outfit, this rare, medium armor boosts you to AC 16 and provides an advantage on Constitution saving throws. As the druid class largely depends on concentration skills, this is a great advantage to have in your corner.
Midgame, this armor is one of the best defenses for a druid if your AC is under 16. While it may not have the same additional features as others, it is helpful when you’re in battle and need all the extra health you can get.

6Adamantine Scale Mail
A very rare, medium armor in Baldur’s Gate 3,Adamantine Scale Mailis craftable during Act 1. This armor is suitable for many classes, including druids. Another great choice earlier in the game is that druids receive very similar benefits to heavy armor without needing that specific proficiency.
When wearing this armor, all incoming damage is reduced by one, and any melee attackers are sent reeling for two turns. While it does cause a disadvantage on Stealth Checks, attackers can’t land any critical hits on the wearer.

Unless stated otherwise, all medium armor gives you disadvantage on Stealth Rolls and a +2 to its AC from your Dexterity, even if your Dexterity is 16 or higher.
5Armour of Agility
The Armour of Agility is a very rare, medium armor found in Act 3, though it looks heavier than it is. The exotic material in the armor adds your full dexterity modifier to your Armor Class and doesn’t impose a disadvantage on Stealth Checks.
It provides an AC of 17, protecting your spellcaster during battle. While it may not be the best possible armor your druid can find in Act 3, it’s a decent choice if you haven’t located the others further down this list.

4Flame Enameled Armour
Flame Enameled Armour is a medium chest piece you can find during Act 3 with the Flaming Fist symbol on it. This powerful armor provides 16 AC and various benefits, including resistance to fire damage and a +2 bonus to saving throws.
While it unfortunately reduces your Stealth, it also provides an additional +2 to your Initiative Rolls. You can also deal extra fire damage and gain resistance to cold, so the trade-off is worth it if you’re willing to break into a chest in Wyrm’s Rock Fortress.

3Helldusk Armour
Helldusk Armour is frequently listed as a great armor choice for multiple classes, as any class can wear it and receive proficiency in heavy armor. However, druids have a particular advantage as you gain 21 AC, even when you’re not in Wild Shape.
Additionally, this armor provides bonuses like Prime Aegis of Fire, giving you resistance to fire damage, as well as Infernal Retribution, which burns a caster if you succeed in a saving throw. Even if you don’t acquire it for your druid, it’s worth having for your other party members. Acquire all four pieces of this set for the complete impact.

The Helldusk Set is some of the hardest gear to obtain. Four pieces are scattered in the House of Hope and Gortash’s quarters.
2Armour of the Sporekeeper
Certain armor is better for specific druid subclasses, such as Armour of the Sporekeeper. It’s the most powerful armor available for Circle of the Spore druids. This rare, light armor increases necrotic damage and enhances spellcasting abilities.
On top of the additional point of necrotic damage, the wearer receives the ability to spread Bibberbang Spores, Timmask Spores, and Haste Spores, making you a deadly force of decay and disease on the battlefield.

You can either buy or loot this armor from the necromancer, Mystic Carrion, at Philgraves Mansion in Act 3.
1Armour of Moonbasking
The Armour of Moonbasking is commonly considered the most powerful armor for a druid, particularly the Circle of the Moon subclass. This very rare light armor gives the wearer temporary hit points and AC when in Wild Shape, an ability exclusive to the class.
With this armor, your survivability is massively increased. While activated, your druid gains 22 temporary hit points and those gained by the animal you’ve transformed into. This must-have armor can be purchased from the voiceless merchant in the Lower City Sewers.
