The Executioner’s Greaves are undoubtedlyone of the best leg armor piecesin Dragon’s Dogma 2, primarily due to their defensive abilities.
Warriorsin particularwill appreciate the resistance to sleep, as they have a Weapon Skill that can clear debilitations but cannot wake them from sleep.

Sorcerers are not renowned for their protective armor; they mainly wear robes that focus on protecting them from other spellcasters. Your substantial Magick Defense is improved further byresisting some of the most common forms of damagein the game.
For a hat, the Deadly Nightshade is an incredible armor piece for Sorcerers to get as soon as possible, as the wide range of protections is essential. The three resistances are very powerful, particularly when combined with other armor pieces with similar defensive qualities.

Stylistically, it even works as the perfect complement to all the vocations that can use it, lending itself to a surprising variety of fashion choices.

Magick Archer
This Magick Archer-exclusive headgear is one of the best pieces someone of this vocation could want, as you’ll rarely be in melee range. If you’re positioning yourself well, the enemy will only be able to target you with elemental arrows and spells.
However, the Ancient Galea will protect Magick Archers as your foes struggle to reach you from a distance. The huge boost to your fashion is nothing to scoff at either – you have to look good while slinging those arrows.

Magick Archer is one of the strongest offensive vocationsin Dragon’s Dogma 2, but their defensive options are equally powerful, particularly Resonance Armor. Much like some of the aforementioned body armor pieces, you will resist Caught Fire and Ice-bound, but this time to the tune of 20 percent, rather than five or ten.
In addition to the excellent elemental and debilitation resistance, the Resonance Armor provides incredibly high base Defense and Magick Defense, making it one of the most well-rounded armor pieces in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Warriors and Mystic Spearhands are experts at enduring damage and dishing out plenty of their own. While Mystic Spearhand has access to Weapon Skills that will protect them, Warriors simply endure damage to the face.
However, the Vashara Scaleskin will be an excellent boon to both vocations, as it keeps fire damage at bay, which ensures that your defenses aren’t undone as you burn. The base Defense is exceptional for dealing with the regular damage you endure on the frontlines of battle.
