Summary
Terrariacreator Redigit has announced a new refund policy at Re-Logic, as he’s revealed he’ll give anyone a no-questions-asked refund if they can beat him once in a PvP duel.
It can be a little tricky to get refunds for games nowadays, especially if you’re trying to get your money back for a game you’ve played for a handful of minutes on consoles. It’s not often you’ll see a game’s creator offering refunds to players no matter how much time they’ve spent on the game though, but that’s exactly what Terraria creator Redigit is doing, provided you meet his demands.
Via his Twitter account, Redigit explained that players will now be able to request a refund for any reason, no questions asked, and that it will be granted as long as you can defeat him in a 1v1 PvP match (thanksGamesRadar). Sounds simple enough, though the fact that Redigit has the stones to announce this at all should tell you that beating the creator of Terraria at his own game is obviously no easy feat.
Terraria’s Creator Is Handing Out Refunds For Beating Him In PvP
ChippyGaming, one of Terraria’s most popular content creators and personal friend of Redigit, found this out the hard way, recentlytaking on the game’s creator in a jousting matchto see who becomes “the new CEO of Re-Logic.” After a brief bout of stabbing each other with lances, ChippyGaming is defeated with relative ease, as Redigit is left standing with just under seven hearts of health remaining.
So, even if you think you’re a Terraria wizard, just be aware that even one of the game’s most dedicated content creators got nowhere near taking Redigit down. Even if you did manage to beat him, you’d just lose access to Terraria as your reward, and surely that fate isn’t worth the bragging rights you’d get for such a feat. I guess you could always just buy Terraria again with your refund.
