Summary

You have heard of the depth and are ready to playStar Wars: Unlimited, but deck prices are steep. Chances are, you also want a competitive and high-performing deck without sensing a disturbance in your wallet – essentially top-tier cards without top-tier pricing.

Decks currently cost an arm and a leg, but history says this might not be the norm. Pricing for brand-new trading card games (TCG) tends to be extremely volatile in the first few weeks. But it usually corrects itself as the game releases new product and the meta changes. Meanwhile, these budget decks will scratch the itch until supply is pumping again.

Leia Organa in Star Wars: Unlimited

K-2SO, Cassian’s Counterpart (x3)

Guerilla Attack Pod (x3)

ThisLeia aggro deckis a lot of things, but it’s not sneaky. It is carefully built to barrage your opponent’s base with many small units. Leia’s free action ability also lets you play two actions in one turn (action cheating) and keep the initiative as much as possible.

With this deck, taking initiative is crucial for doing damage, so the more you deal units to base, the better. And when you’re ready to finish the opponent, deal For A Cause I Believe in to seal the deal.

Sabine Wren in Star Wars: Unlimited

Steadfast Battalion (x3)

Sabine Wrenturns any deck into a threat by lane dodging, which is a crucial skill when playing aggro. Not only does it let you go where your opponent isn’t (and attack), but lane dodging also enables you to play your best available arena unit and get that damage in.

Aggro decks thrive on tempo, so dealing Fleet Lieutenant and Steadfast Battalion enhances your efficiency while Rebel Pathfinder is perfect for killing things with a shield. Plus, For A Cause I Believe In and Heroic Sacrifice come handy when your opponent is hammering your base.

Plus, Chopper and Kanan Jarrus deal the opposite fortune to your opponent by discarding cards from their deck.

Sabine Wren is trouble because she deals direct damage to your enemy’s base while Admiral Ackbar can decimate your enemy’s units by dealing damage equal to the number of units you control on the ground.

Darth Vader is best played in the late-game, where he can finish off your enemy’s units and allow you to play villainy units without cost. And, if your base is on its last legs, Reinforcement Walker can heal three damage and buy you more time.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Following Fate (x2)

Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight (x3)

ThisRed Chirrut deckis unique because it combines aggro and control abilities. Yoda and Redemption heal base damage while Luke Skywalker, K2SO, and Sabine Wren wear down your enemy’s units and base. Fleet Lieutenant also gives a unit extra power, allowing you to deal maximum damage.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Following Fate (x3)

ThisGreen Lukeis a menacing deck to try if you love defensive and fast-paced gameplay. When in space, Bright Hope prevents your enemy from attacking non-sentinel units or your base, as Redemption and Restored ARC-170 heal damage and buy you more time.

Echo Base Defender and Obi-Wan Kenobi absorb incoming damage from attacking units and protect non-sentinel units. Admiral Ackbar racks up damage by dealing an equal number to the units you control in the arena and Steadfast Battalion ravages enemy units and deals excess damage to their base, sealing your win.

Count Dooku, Darth Tyranus (x3)

Emperor Palpatine, Master of the Dark Side

ThisGrand Inquisitor decktakes aggro to another level with Seventh Sister and Wolffe, who can ignore Sentinel units and defeat defender shields. You can say it does aggro a little too well with Death Trooper who deals two damage to an enemy unitandground unit.

While with the initiative, Baze Malbus gains Sentinel, and combined with Cell Block Guard, you can deflect enemy units from the base and non-sentinel units. You can also pull out Emperor Palpatine to use his Overwhelm ability to deal six damage among enemy units of your choice.
