InDragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll pick up all manner of items during your travels. Some of these items are more valuable than others, but each has a purpose that can benefit you. Whether it’s the profits made by selling the item or the affinity from gifting your unwanted wares to NPCs, you may always find something to do with what you pick up.
There are several gems you can find, likeOnyx,Jasper, andTiger Eye. They seem like they’d be important, and they can be, depending on your goals. Here’s what you can do with these gemstones in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

You’re likely tofindjasper,onyx, andtiger eyein your travels, whether youloot it, earn it as a quest reward, or collect itfrom defeating monsters.
you may potentially find it after defeating monsters likegoblins, harpies, minotaurs, and ogres,or by completing quests likeA Beggar’s Tale.

Merchants are the best way to go when looking to offload goods that weigh you down. Whilegems aren’t necessarily heavy, you may want theextra money to purchase better equipment.
If you’re going to sell these gems, it’s best to pay close attention to wherethey’re in limited supply. This will boost the price of the gems you sell,netting you higher profits.
If you’re not able to sell them right away, store them for the opportune moment!

When you interact with your favorite NPCs, look for the option to give them a gift!
Increasing your affinity with NPCsdoes more than just endear them to you. You will oftenreceive discounts from merchants or giftsfrom people you’re friends with. You may evenunlock romance optionsand special interactions with dialogue that cement your relationships.
