We’ve all been there, swept up in the epic quests and breathtaking scenery and forgetting to peek behind every curtain. The following are hidden areas around DD2 that you should be sure to keep a lookout for the next time you play the game. Some are so obscure that you might have adventured for hundreds of hours and never stumbled upon them.

7Waterfall Cave

You can access the cave on thenortheastern side of Vermundnear theBorderwatch Outpostlater, after the Griffin’s body has disappeared from the entrance. You will, however, need to be prepared as the cave also houses some challenging enemies such as the Gorechimera.

While this area is readily apparent on the game’s map, it can be easy to miss because it is situated near a series of other caves. You can find Drabnir’s Grottoto the south of Batthal, and it is one of themethods you can use to get to the Agamen Volcanic Island.

The area itself is pretty extensive and features a large and dark interior, for which you should consider bringing a lantern. You should be ready to encounter some enemies, such as the Cyclops, but upon successful exploration, you can find some powerful weapons and armor, such asThe ExaltedMace.
