Summary

Pokemon’s Squishmallow family will grow by two members this summer when Dragonite and Marill join the fray. That makes now the best time to fill any gaps in your collection as we are rapidly reaching a point where anyone starting their Pokemon Squishmallow journey now will struggle to make that collection complete. Whether you have no Pokemon Squishmallows or an incomplete one because Teddiursa is missing, Amazon has a deal for you.

The 14-inch version of Teddiursa’s Squishmallow is not only back in stock on Amazon, but it’s on sale. Instead of paying the standard $24.99, you may grab a squishy Teddiursa of your own for just $19. Not a massive reduction, but the headline here is that the Squishmallow is available at all, so available plus $5 off makes this a very big deal. It’s also a limited-time deal, so if you can afford one and you want one, you’ll want to act fast.

teddiursa squishmallow

Teddiursa was added to Pokemon’s Squishmallow collectionin 2023 alongside Clefairy, bringing the total of Pokemon that have received the Squishmallow treatment to eight. It makes a lot of sense that Teddiursa is among one of the first Pokemon to be turned into a Squishmallow since it is basically a living teddy bear. It’s shocking that it took Pokemon as long as it did to pick Teddiursa, although other than Pikachu getting a second design, Pokemon hasn’t put a foot wrong so far on the Squishmallow front.

A Teddiursa Teddy Bear

Teddiursa Squishmallow

Pokemon’s Squishmallow family has grown via the addition of Teddiursa. The teddy bear Pokemon appears over the moon to have been selected for Squishmallow duty.

Amazon also hasthe larger 20-inch Teddiursa Squishmallowin stock, but it’s not on sale. If you want the biggest version of Teddiursa available, you will have to pay $49.99.The slightly smaller 12-inch versionis also in stock at the Pokemon Center. The 12-inch Squishmallows are exclusive to the Pokemon Center and have a badge sewn to them that other Squishmallow sizes do not. That’s why even though they’re smaller, buying Squishmallows directly from the Pokemon Center costs extra.

No release date has been given forDragonite and Marill’s Squishmallows, but Jazwares has confirmed they’ll be released this summer. There tends to be a gap of around six months between new Pokemon Squishmallow releases, so expect to see them go on sale in May or June. If you already have a Teddiursa Squishmallow and you can’t wait until May for new Pokemon plushes, might I suggestthe 59-inch, $450 Slowpokethat has just been added to the Pokemon Center?
