Summary

Even though The Pokemon Company could turn every single one of its creations into a plush and never need to come up with new ideas or designs, certainPokemonare so popular that they have more than one type of plush. There are the life-size ones that make you realize just how big some Pokemon would be if they existed in the real world -looking at you, Slowpoke- and also a range of sleeping plushes that have the Pokemon curled up and catching some Zs. An incredibly popular range, it turns out, and right now you’re able to get some of them for less.

Target has cut the prices of its sleeping Pokemon plushes and if you act fast, you’re able to get them for $22.49 instead of the usual $29.99. $30 is quite a lot for a plush, but you’re getting quite a bit more plush than usual. While they’re not nearly as big asthe life-size Larvesta plushrevealed last month, Pokemon’s sleeping plushes are quite a bit bigger than their regular cheaper ones. Think a big cat or a small dog curled up on a cushion or your lap.

Target has eight of Pokemon’s sleeping plushes available for less right now with no indication of how long they will remain available for that lower price.Even the three newest oneswhich were only made available for the first time last September are included in the sale. Bulbasaur, Rowlet, and Pichu joined Pokemon’s sleeping plush gang and since the trio is still so new, I’d hazard to guess this is the first time they’ve been available for anything less than $29.99.

Pick Up Some Sleeping Pokemon For Less

Sleeping Rowlet Plush

Rowlet is a Grass-type Pokemon. Perhaps the most popular Grass-type starter Pokemon to date. This Target-exclusive plush shows the well-loved Pokemon taking a snooze.

Since Pokemon’s sleeping plush collection is still relatively small, it only really includes some of the best-known and most popular Pokemon.Pikachu has one, of course, as do Charmander and Squirtle.Sleeping Jigglypuff is in thereand available for less too, as is the only Pokemon I’d argue doesn’t need a sleeping plush - Snorlax. Even when Snorlax is awake it looks like it’s asleep, so having it be a part of Pokemon’s sleeping plush collection feels a little obsolete.
