The combination ofPokemonandSquishmallowsis a potent one. Ten designs released so far, with two more coming soon, that almost always sell out immediately whenever they’re restocked. The Gengar Squishmallow, in particular, is very hard to come by, part of the initial wave of Pokemon Squishmallows and rarely restocked 18 months later. However, the squishy Ghost-type plush is slowly becoming easier to find, and right now its ten-inch version is available for less than half its usual price at Walmart.
Usually $29.99, which is the going rate for a Pokemon Squishmallow of this size although will get you one that is ever so slightly bigger for the same price at the Pokemon Center, Gengar’s Squishmallow is currently just $14.97 at Walmart. Not only exciting that it’s back in stock, but it might be the cheapest you will ever find it. Also worth noting is that even though the 12-inch Gengar at the Pokemon Center is $29.99, I’m not sure it has been restocked since it was first released.
Be quick if you are like me and you have been on the hunt for a Gengar Squishmallow as whether it’s $15 or $30, it won’t stay in stock for long. Walmart has a few other Pokemon Squishmallows in stock too although none of them are reduced in price as much as Gengar, if at all.The Togepi Squishmallow, another hard one to find, is currently available, andthe newest Pokemon Squishmallow it has in stock is the Clefairy. Clearly not as popular as others as the Fairy-type is also in stock at the Pokemon Center.

I say this almost every time I write about Pokemon Squishmallows, but time is running out for collectors who haven’t picked up all of them yet if they want this to remain manageable. Pokemon Funko Pops and plushes have already reached a point where catching ‘em all is almost impossible. Squishmallows, however, still only have ten designs. It’ll be expensive, and some of them will be very hard to find, but getting every Pokemon Squishmallow is still an achievable goal.
There will be two more Squishmallows in Pokemon’s collection before you know it after the next two plushes were teased last week. Although only shown from behind, we saw enough of them to know thatthe next two Pokemon Squishmallows will be Fuecoco and Bellibolt. If they get full reveals and release dates soon, it might mean Pokemon is upping the frequency of its Squishmallow releases.
